There are situations that women think about that they don't want to find themselves in and that is what they are referring to. For instance, being in a house that as the girlfriend can't make payments on, not having any way to make bills when they may not be taken care of through life insurance, medical costs to someoned you are not "related to", not being considered as next of kin if there was an accident, have your children demand things in the home if something happens to you, not being on your health insurance.
