Helpppppppp!!
I have a dilemma, I dyed my hair last night and was meant to come out dark brown and its turned black!! Ekk
Does anyone know anything that I can put on my hair that will make it fade a bit as I have to go to work tomorrow and don't want a ribbing.

Go back to the store and ask for a lighter colour and dye over it

I've answered a simliar post a few days ago. This member had the same hair problem as you. I hope this thread helps.

But, if you want to fade the color, try using Prell, dandruff shampoo or a clarifying shampoo with very warm water, it will help fade the color faster.

If you try to use a lighter dye on the dark hair it won't work- follow Pretty Lady's link !

You could try using dish washing detergent soap... I would begin on the ends of your hair (where it is probably the darkest) This is very clarifying (read: stripping, damaging) so be sure to leave a deep conditioning masque (think Kerastase Masqueintense or Uans) on for as long as possible to replace the moisture...

There are a lot of threads with people horrified by their dark dye jobs! I know not everyone is flattered by brunette hair, but it's winter- dark hair isn't so bad this time of year, and it is nice and shiny! I like that Ava Gardner/ Audrey Hepburn allure...
It is a lot less damaging to embrace the dark hair, too.
