My boyfriend was arrested in Kelso, Washington on October 7th, 2009 and is now in Cowlitz County Jail. The Cowlitz Corrections Inmate Charges list http://www.co.cowlitz.wa.us/cccd/jail/Custody/InmateCharges.aspx?Inmate=80122 says that he has DOC Hold, 2 charges of DWLS 3rd Degree (46.20.342.3), Felony Eluding (88.12.045), Hit and Run - unattended vehicle 46.52.010(3), Possess Stolen Property 1 (9A.56.150), Probation Violation (9.94A.200), and Vucsa (69.50.401). All Charges are pending. Id really like to know what the maximum punishment is for these charges so that I have a rough estimation of how long he will possibly be looking at. If anyone has any information that they could tell me I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

Eluding: (c) For a class C felony, by confinement in a state correctional institution for five years, or by a fine in an amount fixed by the court of ten thousand dollars, or by both such confinement and fine.

Probastion Violation: his original term plus up to a year (not verified for WA)

The rest are misdomeners and will likely be secondary to the felony and carry fines and loss of license possibly permanently.

ANd the drug charges are at least a class C felony too - so add another 5 years there if the quantity wasn't large or schedule I or II

Hello lost:

That's not the right question to ask, because he could be found guilty of ALL of it and they could sentence him with consecutive sentences, and he'll be in there for 75 or so years...

The question to ask, is what can you do to LESSEN whatever sentences he gets. The answer to that question, even though you didn't ask, is to hire the best damn criminal lawyer you can find.
