Do I need a lawyer for these violations not to be on my record in denton county jp court?

1. possession or delivery of drug paraphernalia mar. pipe
2. speeding 10 % above posted speed limi(#). Laser

Driving violations go on your DMV record, not your criminal record.

Yes where possession is concerned.

YES you need a lawyer for the drug charge. Screw the speeding thing. It ain't going to hurt you for the rest of your life like the drug charge will.

Bashing the Cops instead of the OP is not answering the question - :)

We sure see the whole enforcement "thing" in different ways!

I don't want it both ways. I bash COPS - not our OP's. We OWE the OP. HE is our customer. We DON'T owe cops.
