My mother owned a mobile home in New Jersey, purchased in the early 80s. When she passed away in 1994, I remained living there until recently. I just bought a new home and wish to sell the trailer but there is no title to be found. The land is rented from the park owner, but the trailer is owned free and clear. Does anyone know where to begin to locate a title, I actually have a purchaser but having no title is holding things up.

I'm sure it varies from state to state but most title mobile home through the department of motor vehicles as opposed to deeds through the land office. You should be able to find the title through the VIN. May places require a decal showing registeration be affix to the mobile home.
