I've done some research and found this:
Women do not have to notify potential fathers of abortion or even pregnancy.
Men have no rights until paternity is proven/accepted.
Men must support the (unborn) child/(potential) mother if paternity is proven/accepted.
A man cannot decide that a woman NOT get an abortion.
What I want to know is this:
If a father does know of the pregnancy and it is proven/accepted that he is the father can he demand an abortion(he does not want a child or the responsibility of paying for/raising a child) or surrogate mothering process(he wants the child, she does not)?
How early can a father's paternity be proven?
It does not seem fair to me that currently a woman has the right to fully decide for both parties future responsibily towards a child and a man does not (outside of that first decision to have sex).
If you could please answer my questions or correct my believed statements that would be helpful thank you.
p.s. US law please. Please not any changes that occur state to state and what determines which state determines the laws (ie state of conception, mother's state, father's state, etc).
