I have two river birch trees off my deck that have tiny green bugs falling off them. The trees are right next to a pond and can not be sprayed, what can we do to get rid of them. They are driving us crazy!

Can you describe them or post a picture? Control measures are seldom effective if you don't know what you're trying to control.

They are very tiny green, with 6 or 8 legs, looks like a spider, but the size of a pinhead.

Sounds like a spider mite. Do they look similar to these?
