I have glacierbay 2.5 shower faucet I have low water pressure at the spicot. Rest of bathroom water pressur OK. What are the possible causes. Thanks for the help

The cartridge is likely plugged up, is hot worse than cold? Remove the cartidge, clean it with a tooth pick or fine instrument and air pressure, blow out the valve body by turning the main on/off quickly. That should do it.

Remove cartridge, clean, reinstall. Let us know what you find.

Make sure to turn main water to house off before removing cartridge. Once cartridge is removed, turn main water back on for about five seconds to clear any dabree in faucet housing. Then clean cartride, reinstall, and let us know if it works.

Oh, before you do any of these things, just remove shower head and see if you have good water flow without shower head installed. Make sure the shower head is clean, reistall.

Did that . All were clean. Could the low faucet pressure be due to the valve ports onlt being about 1/4 inch in diameter? Can I get a valve that will allow more water flow?

This is normal. 1/2 inch incoming water , then reduced down to 1/4 inch or so in the valve body. Is this a tub/ shower, or only a shower, or just a tub? What size pipes supply the faucet.

It is a tub/shower the supply is 1/2 inch to both hot and cold

Do you get poor pressure from both the shower head and the tub spout?

We had ten inches here last week, and its still 30 below with wind chills of minus 50 to 55. Lets just say I've been awefull busy at work the last week and will be for awhile to come. Between furnaces and frozen plumbing, I don't know if I'm coming or going.
