I love it KBC!! I haven't been on our CB in awhile but my handle was "Blondie" or "Petie", a name given to me by my brother when I was little. First I was Danny, then I was Petie and that stuck. Here I am all these years later and it is still "Petie" to my family. Weird. "Blondie" was my husband's handle he liked for me. He would be in the truck and I in the car.

I was shopping the other day and it was quite disorienting to me with one eye shut. Yuck.

They just built our new Walmart Superstore! Now it's even further away, and you can't find anything to save your life! You need to count on being in there for at least a few hrs, in order to find anything! I liked it before when you could run in and out because you knew where things were! Blah!

You know me Starby, I am not a shopper. I have ordered a few things on line. We enjoy Kohl's. Has a good assortment of nice gift items. Target and Toys R Us are a must.

They're not done with our new Target yet! When we went out shopping last week, I didn't know where the heck anything was! They've moved everything! I hate it. They build EVERYTHING way at the other end of town, and NOTHING close to me! It's a half hr drive just to get to a darn store!

Oh by the way, I live in the center of town! I don't know why they can't build around here! I'm only 5 minutes from downtown, and there is nothing but pricey little shops down there! Oh and a dollar store... geeeezzz!

That's the thing. I don't know who could print it off. I definitely can't count on my brother, and everyone else I know is either too busy, working, live out of town, or not in town right now. That sure would have been an easier way. I hate trying to write something out by hand, but it seems it's my only option now. I already screwed up the forms, and used white out so many times, it looks like a total mess!

Okay Sweets, just wanted you to know I would be happy to do that for you. Wish we had done it that week I first got home from my trip. :(

I did just come across some of my notes from before. I'll try and compile them all into one letter. I'm sure I'll be up most of the night, but like I said, I did have a nap.

I can also call a friend that just came to town for a few days today, and have him come and pick it up first thing in the morning, and send it express mail. He did call me earlier, and ask if I need help with anything, so I'll take advantage of that, and get him to run and do a few things for me if he has time. He's a truck driver, so the slippery roads don't scare him much! ;)

I do like the change of seasons too. But the high today is about 12 degrees... cold although not as cold as in Canada with Starby. WE are to get 3 to 5 inches of new snow today, That I like, fresh clean white snow without the wind though.

BUT, after a month or so of this,, I want spring again, January and February are too long, dark and cold... gets old...

Doing pretty good, getting to go hang out with some friends and work on a couple of songs. My friend Jared is going to draw my next tattoo out for me, so I'm kind of exited about that. I'm good! Had company lastnite... for the second night in a row... and we stayed up till stupid o'clock! So very tired, and so much to get done. Wrapping more gifts right now, and wondering who I've forgotten. :(

We have been scrambling daily; Christmas Shopping, decorating inside and out (and in the backyard also). Busy, busy, busy also... Just about have all the decorating finished though, but much more shopping to do. And we are getting ready for our annual Christmas Eve dinner for about 30 adults plus grandkids... love this time of year...

Now they are saying 47 degrees today AND 62 degrees tomorrow!! Now they have severe flooding warnings out for the Chicago area... I just heard on the radio that this is the second 'wettest' year for this area on record... Next year!! You can't come soon enough...

The cleaning people were to be here at 8 this morning, they arrived at 11:30 am... they were stuck in traffic on ice covered highways from 7 am for 4 hours... cars off the road and a jack knifed tractor trailer in the niddle of the highway...

I went out to just get my newspapers (can't start the day without 'um---AND of course my Maxwell Master Blend coffee) and it was beautiful, everything covered in a coating of ice and sparkling.. but like the ice storms that I experienced in North Carolina when I lived there I almost went on my a*s just taking 3 steps... the storm door was iced shut, I had to lean against it to open it... nice huh?
