OK, since I have not been on here and don't know the whole story, I'm staying out of any disputes, but I thought I'd drop by and see if you are behaving yourselves. Yup, wonderfully silly as usual and I love it.

You little pirates, you!

http://www.postsmile.com/img/marine/90.gif (http://www.postsmile.com/)

Enjoy the Island and I will join you soon. Just getting ready for my brother's visit and taking care of a few more things, then I'll be back (not a threat, but a promise),

Love and Hugs to you all, my special pearls!

We were being good Momma! Honest we were! ::wink wink:: It was Alty... yep... she started it all I swear! Send her to her room... with no supper! :D

I like the Island pirates! The little guy with the patch is kind of hot! Mysterious looking! ;)

Let's all be nice honey, you and I are not exactly angels either and have our days. Speaking of supper, I'm hungry now and wish I had a pizza, but nothing is open at this time, so I guess a grilled cheese sandwich will have to do.

Be nice, and I'll see you all tomorrow when I get from my visit with Alex. We are invited to Guilio's for dinner at 5 PM, so I need to rest and it takes me hours to put on make-up and get dressed..

TTFN,
Chery

Starby, we have to show young Bear what we're made of. Grab your passport, lets go drinking! :)

Poor Bear, he doesn't know what he's gotten himself in to. ;)

Hi Momma C, I was being good, it was Bear, he started it, I think. Okay, it may have been me, but, but, my intentions were goodish. :)

starbuck8
Jan 3, 2009, 12:57 AM
Goodish! What kind of word is Goodish? Momma... Alty's been skipping school again! I on the other hand, I have straight A's Momma! And in my spare time, I go around cleaning up the Island, and handing out food to the homeless here on our Island! Does Alty do that?. noooooo! She's too busy playing with the boys! I even saw her kissing a boy behind a tree! You need to ground her Momma! She's out of control!

Alty
Jan 3, 2009, 01:35 AM
Momma, Starby's been drinking, that's how she got the black eye. You can't believe a thing she says, it's all wine talk. :)

starbuck8
Jan 3, 2009, 01:51 AM
Momma! Alty came out of her room and she's buggin me!

.

Alty
Jan 3, 2009, 01:53 AM
Momma, Starby stole my diary and she read it to Stwinger! Waaaaaa, there was private stuff in there. She's a mean sister, I thought big sisters were supposed to be nice.

Pssst, Starby, I'm tipsy, in a mood and nothing to do. Should I go on that other site and reak havoc? Shhh, don't tell anyone. ;)

starbuck8
Jan 3, 2009, 01:55 AM
Can we sneak out the window? Shhhhh!

Alty
Jan 3, 2009, 01:56 AM
They told me to pipe down! I can't believe it.

I'm mad. :(

Alty

Can we sneak out the window? Shhhhh!!

Tip toe, tip toe, trip, fall, ow, what the? Starby, did you leave your toys on the floor again? I tripped over them! :(

Shhh, I hear someone coming. Pizza guy, is that you?:eek:

Alty
Jan 3, 2009, 01:58 AM
No way!! That's weird! Lemme at em!

No worries, it was a reddie, they gave me a reddie, they're mean. I find it funny though, I'm promoted to expert here the same day I get banned (for not being mean enough) on the other site. What's this world come to?

I think I'll stick to AMHD, I don't like being forced to be mean, it should come naturally. ;)

starbuck8
Jan 3, 2009, 02:00 AM
I twipped over your twaining bra, and it snapped and I hit my head! Okay... lets tie our sheets together and throw them out the window. You hold on... I'll go first and make sure the coast is clear!

starbuck8
Jan 3, 2009, 02:02 AM
Alty? Did you turn on the freeze machine? It was -2 yesterday! Now it's -41! What the..? That wasn't bery nice of you!

Alty
Jan 3, 2009, 02:14 AM
Ooops, I hit the wrong switch. Sorry Stawby! :(

Okay, you first, out the window you go, let's have some fun, Momma will never know. ;)

Oh no, Stwingy is having a party in the yard, he'll see us, what do we do? Eeeek!

starbuck8
Jan 3, 2009, 02:19 AM
We can sneak right by Stwingy! He's too busy with the Island Girls to notice us! Rebby's bike is parked right outside. Do you think we can push it down the road and then make a run for it? Would Rebby be mad at us and tell Momma? We won't wreck it Rebby! Pwomise!

Alty
Jan 3, 2009, 02:26 AM
I think Rebbie would understand, but are you sure we can sneak past Stwingy, he's always watching.

Shhh, tip toe, no noise, ::quack:: Hey, no quacking, you're going to get us in trouble. Now pipe down! ;)

We're almost to the gate, just a little bit to go, run Stawby, RUN!!

I'm flapping as fast as I can! Hang on Alty!

Yup, I just glanced at my Yahoo Home Page and that was in the news. It is sad... but it's also the way of life and nobody is exempt. I know I would absolutely flip if something happened to Jaime or Alex, but there would be nothing I could do about it - except maybe go crazier than I already am..

It is sad, but like Chery said, that's life, death is a part of it. It always sucks when someone young dies, such a short life, so many possibilites gone, but when you're card's dealt, there's nothing you can do.

I feel bad for the family, I hope that the get through this. It's those of us that are left behind that have to deal with the future, the deceased is the lucky one.

Wow, I'm a bit morbid today.

Starby, I think we got caught, we may have to bribe Stringer.

From what I've read from him, he's a pretty mixed up young man who probably had no guidance while growing up and is out in left field. He seems to be looking for trouble at every corner and is very confused about what he wants to do with the rest of his life. Drinking himself to sleep most of the time will not solve his problems either.

I feel sorry for the guy, but some need to really fall hard before they decide to pick themselves up and straighten out with a clearer focus. I wish him well.

He surely needs a lesson in morals... and mothers need to have better communication with their daughters so that guys like him don't get the chance to do stupid things. Most believe that it will never happen to them, until it's too late, or some moms are just too busy to be bothered with the proper care and love after they give birth.

So, moms out there, set standards and moral guides... not taboos or dwell in ignorance.

Give your kids a special hug for me tonight honey... the four-legged ones too.

Ya know, Marta and I finally went to see the movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still" yesterday. We liked it, but we like most decent Sci Fi movies. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it but to say that the way it ends says more than we are destroying earth... it is a new start... back to the basics... with family and friends too...

Stringer

happy new year stringer, how ya doin

Doing good Bear... thanks, and you?

Today we are having kind of a surprise Birthday Party for my daughter at 7 pm. We are decorating some for that now...

And I noticed that all, or most of my neighbors have taken down their outside Christmas Decorations this morning... now I have to consider doing that sooner that I really want to. I suppose that they took theirs down early this year because of the cost of the electricity... who knows... I think I will take mine down sometime this week.

Alty

Hmmmm, maybe it's because english is my second language, I never picked up the Canadian "accent". I don't use "eh" or say aboot, actually, none of my friends do either. Maybe it depends on where you live in Canada. :)

I think that we should introduce Bear to the fine art of drinking. He's young Starby, we should start slow. Beer to start, a pitcher or two each, then jello shots, then maybe some tequila. If he's still standing after that then we'll finish him off with vodka. :)

Poor Bear, he has no idea what he's gotten himself into. :)

I think for Bears sake we should start with an umbrella drink... then we can move on to Jello-shots... a couple Jäger shots... a bottle cap... an upside down margarita... a Barn Burner... a sex on the beach just to cool down the barn burner... a Hell Fire... a Jack A$$... then we can start in on the keg! :D

Alty
Jan 4, 2009, 03:25 PM
Jello shots are divine and potent. You don't realize that you're consuming a lot of alcohol, because it's contained in jello. So, 3 or 4 shots later, you're smashed but don't know how, and you're tongue is green, or red, depends on the jello. :)

Sambouka shots? Really? Amateur. :)

Jello shots are gooood! You soak fruit in vodka or te-killya, and then you make jello using booze instead of water... add the fruit and let it set up! Then you can either eat them out of the shot glass... orrrr, out of someone's cleavage... LOL!

Jello shots are gooood!! You soak fruit in vodka or te-killya, and then you make jello using booze instead of water...add the fruit and let it set up! Then you can either eat them out of the shot glass...orrrr, out of someones cleavage...LOL!

Starby, you promised we'd never talk about that night!

I just got home, popped on here and have to say, I love to hear Starby talk... love the way she says certain words also Stringer. So Alty, you don't sound the same then as Starbs?? I forgot how far you are from each other... several hours?? If so, here, 30 miles apart can make a difference in the accent. LOL Love it. I enjoy and really get caught up in the sound of a voice, inflection of words. Love it. Just fun. Yes, Albear, you have an accent online and it's cute. Stringer... ummmm.. ummm... so do you!! LOL Well, got to run. Dinner time. Just got in from Nursing Home and needed a friendly "pick me up" in my spirit. Thanks everyone!!

Alty and I are only about 5 hrs away. I don't think our accents are different... Alty just has a lowwww voice! ;)

Hungry now and going. Just hung out here until food arrived. It was not a "cooking" night for me!!

Just get ready and practice Starby... I want to hear you do my accent next time we talk... get ready now!! : )

Next time Starbs calls me, she is going to have to talk to me like me. LOL I will be curious as to what she is hearing in this voice with no accent. LOL

Wish all of us could just get on the phone on conference call and visit. I have in my head how each of you would sound. Would we be surprised?? Nah... I think not. Well, maybe... I still have to ask Starby to repeat things but you know what?? She does me tooo. Fun times!!

You know, Starby is many things... she is Queen of the Castle, the mischievous Duckster, and Santa?? AND talks like me?? So maybe she also has a Jamaican accent that only you can hear.

This is Momma C's "Magical" Island... one never should give up Sneezy... she may come through for you yet with that accent you are wanting to hear. I hear she can leap tall buildings in a single bound, become invisible, even walk through doors so, who knows what powers that girl possesses. Alty may have some inside scoop on that for you, maybe even Stringer, Momma C and some other's. Well, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it and saying goodnight to all! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Just like my daughter did several times. I've been here since 2005, and at that time, there were only two experts in a category allowed, glad that has changed as we have a lot of good people who also deserve the title and credit. Yeah, a few weeks ago I was having a series of sharp chest pains that would buckle me over sometimes... so Marta insisted that I get the "full boat" of tests... you know how she can be (bless her). The EKG showed some abnormalities so Dr Papas (heart specialist) wanted to do all the tests... anyway they injected me with RADIUM (yeah radioactive stuff) twice, did the treadmill, they took pictures of my heart and so on. He said that these tests are not all inclusive and they are to be considered about 75% accurate.. but I will live some more.

We had to wait a long time between the tests so I turned off the lights in the waiting room and asked Marta "Do I glow?????????" She was embarrassed I suppose and just kept reading her magazine..... "I just get NO RESPECT"... I'LL TELL YA... ) ha

If it is the alternator... but I agree that is sounds like it might be. When the alternator goes bad your car engine draws directly from the battery and then it goes dead...

I bet that stuff didn't taste too good either. Every time I get it injected, I have the funniest taste and tingling. It's the same stuff they use in Cat Scans and I get an average of one every two months now. Then, the infusion consists of four bottles, one of which has steroids - and boy do I get wired that day!

I hope that your ticker is doing fine, maybe just getting a little older, or you ate something that gave you heartburn. At my age, there are some things I can no longer eat (hot stuff, even bananas and anything with lemon in it).

So, just in case, keep a bottle of Maalox around or Peptobismol - they usually help as quick relief. You be sure to let Momma C know the final results. And yes, bless Marta! She loves you, you big lug, and wants to keep you around to cuddle with a whole lot longer. So, work with us here.

I love when people do silly things like that to get people to laugh. My sister and I used to do funny little things like that all of the time. A few times we scared the crap out of my brother because he wouldn't be expecting the things that we would do. He sure turned it around on us though! LOL! We were always pulling practical jokes on people. I pulled one on my sister not too long ago that almost turned out very bad! Like the US postal service was about to get involved because my joke tied in with something else that was going on that I wasn't aware of! She could have KILLED me! I was laughing my A$$ off when I found out what happened. It was too funny!

I was sitting one day and had a TV show on while I was playing with Niki. It was Montel, and he had a famous phychic Sylvia Browne on. I really wasn't watching it, but certain parts caught my attn. Someone stood up and asked Sylvia how they could talk to their dead relatives, and she said just talk to them... what do you think you have to have special seonce (sp?) or something? Oh, I forgot to mention that at the time, my computer and phone had not been working for over a week. and I was getting really mad at the service people. Anyway, I said to Niki, (I always talk to her, lol) should we talk to Grandma and Grandpa and ask them to fix Mommy's phone and puter? Then jokingly I said... c'mon Grandma and Grandpa... you can do it! Okay, this is the part you guys are going to say to yourselves... Cuckoo! I SWEAR that about 10 minutes later, my computer fired up and I had internet connection. Well, I sat here and kind of looked around and thought nooo waaayyy! Then I just said... uhhhmmm... thanks? LOL! So anyway, I called my ISP, and they said, oh we're sorry, the servicemen have been so busy but you're next on the list, and he should be there by the end of the day. Okay, weird!!

So anyway, my sis was online on MSN, so I told her what had happened. She laughed at me and said, well since you're talking to them, can you ask Grandma to send me a homemade apple pie like she used to. So now the fun begins.

I thought okay, as a joke I'm going to send her an apple pie. My sister lives in the States. So, I got ahold of one of her friends on her Facebook page. I told the girl that I wanted her to deliver an apple pie to my sis, along with a note from "Grandma" She thought it was funny, so agreed. Well this took forever to do, because at first she was just suppose to put the pie on my sis's doorstep, but every time she tried, my sis's dogs would bark, or someone would see her etc. So we decided the mailbox would be best because it was near the street. So here is this poor girl, parking her car at the end of the block, ducking behind cars, carrying this apple pie! Finally she slips it into the mailbox and runs. She msg'd me and told me it was done.

Okay, now here's what I didn't know! My sis had a creepy mailman that had been stalking her, and she was scared of him. She had made a report to the US Post, and the guy got fired. Do you see where this is going? LOL! She goes out and checks the mail, finds this apple pie. Immediately she thinks it's the stalker mailman. She puts the pie far away from her house just in case it has a bomb of some sort in it! She goes around to all of her neighbours asking if anyone either put a pie in her mailbox, or saw anyone do it. She then calls US Post! They are sending out an investigator, and possibly some troopers! People were keeping their children inside their houses, just to be safe from the "exploding pie!" She calls my mom! Well, my Mom knew about the joke, and was saying... no no no... quick... you have to call back the US Post right now! Your sister sent the pie! It was a joke! I guess US Post and the police didn't find this funny at all! LOL!

So needless to say, after she got done yelling at me... she laughed her A$$ off and said I should watch my back because she is going to get me for this one! YIKES!!

Sorry... a little long wasn't it! ;)
