I have never had a problem with allergies to deoderants. Recently I have had painful lumps under my arms. I went to the emergency room once. The doctor removed something from under arm. I continue to get these lumps despite changing brands. I also used a salt based natural deoderant from a health food store. I continue to have the same results. I need odor protection like everyone else. I am running out of options. I am also unsure what to do when I get these lumps. Can you give me any advice? Thank you in advance.

Make sure you are using deodorant and not antiperspirant. Antiperspirant has aluminum in it and can clog your pours.

Also I had lumps in my armpit before and it was from getting scratched from my new kitten. I think (but I am probably wrong) because of the kitten scratching me my lymph nodes got infected He gave me some antibiotic and it knocked it out in a week.

Maybe bacteria is growing in your armpit, so why not try using isopropol alohol every morning and evening to clean the pits. Wear a clean white undershirt under your clothes.
Maybe you have a low grade infection... get some antibiotics for when you start your program of alcohol wash and clean undershirt if your physician agrees.

Don't wear deodorant for now. :)
