The other night my girlfriend was using her computer to print out a research paper for school. It started to print like the black ink tank was low. Well, it being after midnight, and no place around to buy ink, I refilled a spare cartridge using a refill kit I had. We try again, it started okay, but started doing the same thing. To save sanity, I flash drived the paper to my computer and printed it. I return to the printer. I removed the head, and sure enough it was all gunked up. Too gunked up I think to have been caused by my quick refill job. I clead the head thoroughly and let it dry. I put everything togerther, and a test print indicates that everything is okay. Except... Now it is doing the same thing again. It cannot be gunked up, because the very next day I bought lots of ink cartridges, because I had doubts as to the color's ink level, and replaced everything. I ran the cleaning functions on the printer, but to no avail. What to do?
