I having been living with what is now my exgirlfriend for 2 years. Now she is pissed off at me since we are no longer lovers and wants to throw me out. I have been paying her $ 600 a month for rent the whole time. There is no formal lease per say in writing. The problem is that I am currently unemployed and no one will rent to me because I do not have a job. She wants to evict me because we are no longer lovers can she so that?? Everything is in her name, except I have a phone in my own name, can you help!! I told her I would leave as soon as I got a job!!

Yes she can evict you. She can give you an eviction notice in writing and then go through the courts if you are still there. Then when your time is up through the court order the sheriff can come and remove you if you are still there.

Yes she can evict you. If looking for something else, you may want to be "self employed" esp if you have money in the bank to pay the rental price.

Yes she can evict you, employed or not... although I'd like to know how you're forking out $600 without a job.

When I lost my job I had about $ 20,000 in the bank and getting 1100 in unemployment a month.
