Well now we know for sure that the Sheriff is back in town!. he is up to his dirty tricks again!. I have to call in the Duck Squad and form a plan!

I'm here for a good time, not a long time. ;)

Hi kids, didn't read all the pages you guys accumulated while I was gone, I'm too tired.

I did see that we have a new prisoner, your little bro Ducky? Hmmm, a name, a name, what shall we call you little bro? Broy? Lily? Wait, no, can't do that, Sneezy has the rights to that one. ;)

So, how's trick?

starbuck8
Aug 24, 2008, 02:48 PM
Do you have a brainache today Alty? ;)

Alty
Aug 24, 2008, 02:55 PM
No Starby, I only had two beers last night, I drove while my litle bug boy got drunk out of his mind. ;)

Good times last night, went to another old friends house, played pool, talked about the "good old days". The old days talk was a bit awkward, I had a relationship with both of these guys and when they get drunk they sure like to spill the beans. ;)

I don't think the other friends wife was too happy, but what can I do, duct tape their mouths shut? Don't think so. :(

[QUOTE=Altenweg]I'm here for a good time, not a long time. ;)

... so have a good time... the sun can't shine everyday!. and the sun is shinin... :p

Yes, my sweet little bro stopped in for a minute. I hope he didn't think we were all just crazy, and ran away... nooooo... he wouldn't do that! ;) It's really late where he is, so he's probably sleeping. We'll let him decide on his own nickname. We'll give him 24 hrs. and then we will name him ourselves... LOL! Just jokin! :p

Ahhhh... yes the good old days, and drunk men with loose lips!

So, was I missed, I see that String man is back, I missed him.

starbuck8
Aug 24, 2008, 03:11 PM
Nope... didn't miss you a bit! :p LOL! It was all calm talk around here lastnight... no one got crazy or anything... especially not me... nooooo not me! I was Mary Poppins! I assume you haven't hopped over to your Island yet? Oops! LOL!

Alty
Aug 24, 2008, 03:16 PM
Ah, the island, yes I've been there. You kids think you're soooo sneaky, you have no idea who you're dealing with, do you? Yes, I saw your plans, and I have taken the necessary precautions, you will not toilet paper or duct tape anything you little rascals. :)

And they think I'm the bad one. ;)

Again.......geeze you people are tough........

"DUCK TRAPS!!

YES!!!!!!!!!!! duck traps..... need to work on that... hmmmmmm... need some paper and pencils... to draw them out. Must be fool prof and imaginative."

"Anyone have any ideas??????"

Alty
Aug 24, 2008, 03:57 PM
Hmm, rope, a box, a treat, a stick. Prop the box up with the stick, tie the string around the stick, leave the treat in the box, when ducky comes to take the treat, pull the string, the box will fall and voilà, we have ourselves a duck. I hear she likes pickles, ew. ;)

JoeCanada76
Aug 24, 2008, 05:28 PM
Still have not caught the duck. Lol

Alty
Aug 24, 2008, 05:30 PM
Joe's here, he'll help us catch that darn duck.

Joe, she's slippery and smart. I'm trying to fatten her up, but she won't eat, she's such a picky ducky. Any ideas? ;)

JoeCanada76
Aug 24, 2008, 07:47 PM
How about a pool full of beer...

That will help fatten up the duck and get the duck so drunk that there is no way of escaping after that...

Stringer
Aug 24, 2008, 08:22 PM
NOW... there's an idea Joe, a good one. But I hear she bites when she is drunk..

Hey stringer "WELCOME BACK"
Hope you had a great holiday :)

HEEEEEY Buddy... how are you, missed you.

It was nice, busy and ate out way too much. Did a lot of fun stuff, 2 of Frank Lloyd Wright's houses (beautifully designed with water falls), a Steeler Football practice, a small town that is right out of the 1900's with a gazebo and a live band playing old time music, and like I said many, many fine restaurants with great food.

But it is good to be back home and with you guys... and thank you for asking.

Did you have much trouble Deputy?:D

Got to run and get some sleep my friend, everything is piled up and waiting for me tomorrow morning. I had 313 business emails waiting for me when I got home. It took some time to just get through them, I haven't answered any yet though, that's tomorrow...

Starby, only when you become the Duck but oh my... oh no... my head is spinning. The world I knew and loved is gone, gone, gone!! I must find my home, where is it, where is my bike!! I'm going down into a dark tunnel, maybe never to be seen again, UNLESS... I come back as a Stepford Wife but (:::psssstttt::) Starby, I don't see that happening... just between you and I... CONTROLLED HE says... My little Angel my Guardian, my keeper of the Light... h e l p !

Batman... can you try and answer a question for me if you can?

My stupid puter keeps on uninstalling all of my virus protection. I have Avast, Threatfire, and then I have Adaware, and SpyDr, and Ad-watch. Every time they get reinstalled, shortly afterwards they are gone again. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! My puter is getting slower and slower. Sometimes it won't even work at all!!

Any clue??

startover22
Aug 24, 2008, 10:34 PM
I uninstalled everything on my puter...
I reinstalled what I wanted after I restarted... I use Firefox for the internet browser.
I got spybot for free downloaded and avg or agv or something like that. It is all free. I got to see what the name of it is. That is all I can do to help... you got to do the defrag and disk clean up, my puter is set automatically to do it two times a week, I also heard from my puter friend it is good to leave your puter on with a shutdown once a week...
These are just things he told me to do, I hope it will help you, I would do it when you have some free time tomorrow or something like that... I hope you puter returns to being your friend again;);)

Aug 24, 2008, 10:43 PM
What stary's saying is quite true , if you have to keep installing those programs because they uninstall themselves it is using a lot of Hard Disc space so it important to defrag.

Why it keeps uninstalling itself I have no idea unless I could physically look at the settings etc. but possibly a bug!

Is the Virus protection up to date?

They also make good beer machines, if you saw the email I sent you! LOL!

It's AVG Starty, and I used to have that too, but my brother said Avast was better. I really like Threatfire, but all of them just uninstall themselves all of the time, and I don't know why!? I don't do anything, and they just disappear!

All of mine are free too. I could try and install AVG again, but with my luck, it would uninstall itself too! Urrrrggghhh... I don't know... it's maddening!

Nitey Night Starty... sleep well!

My Dad was just here 3 weeks ago, and brought all of his programs, and updated everything, and did a defrag, and all of that. That is why I'm so confused as to what the heck is going on here. My Dad fixes and rebuilds computers all of the time, so he pretty much knows what he is doing. My computer is on all of the time, but I usually have to reboot several times a day now. It's strange! One minute it will be working like a charm, and then all of a sudden it sticks it's tongue out at me, like right in the middle of talking to you guys or something, with nothing else running... and bang... I'm down for who knows how long!

I do suspect it's a bug or virus of some sort for sure.

Hey all! I'm back! I'm going to attempt to keep up with things today AND amhd. I've SOOOOO missed you guys!

Its been crazy around here - with students starting back (today is the first day of classes), Tropical Storm/Hurricane Fay, a Hurricane-sized sinus infection that had me laid up for a week, and other junk - I've been so busy.

But, I'm here! :)

Glad you are back sweets! So happy that nasty Fay moved along and got out of there! I just thought I would say HI. I was about to go to bed when Allheart sent me a PM, and I was just so upset for her, I didn't sleep all night. I need to lay down, and get a bit of shut eye.

Afternoon kids. I see we have decided that Starby's little bro is our little bro too. :)

I never had a little brother, or older brother, or sister for that matter. I'm an only child, sigh, sob. :(

I hope that Allheart is doing okay, I'm so sad for her, she loved Kara sooo much.

I'm only here for a minute, so just stopped in to say a quick hi. :)

My parents wanted more kids, but they had to try for eight years with numerous surgeries just to have me. I was a miracle baby. :)

Missed you too. I've been really busy lately, not much time to come here.

How was your holiday? I heard that you saw lots of ducks. Seems our little ducky is doing some spy work. ;)

We do have to come up with a new plan to catch her, she's getting out of control, pecking at people, molting all over the sanitarium. As sheriff it's up to you to end this. ;)

I'll cook her if you catch her. Deal?

Three golfers are killed in a car crash and, having mostly behaved themselves in life, they go straight to heaven.

When they arrive, St. Peter greets them at the gate and says, "We only have one rule here in heaven: Don't hit the ducks."

So they enter heaven, and, to their great joy, discover that it is one enormous golf course -- but there are ducks all over the place. It is almost impossible to play without hitting one. Sure enough, though they do their best to avoid it, one of the men eventually hits a duck. Poof! St. Peter, who doesn't miss a thing, appears with the ugliest woman the men have ever seen. St. Peter handcuffs this woman to the unfortunate golfer and says, "Your punishment is to spend eternity chained to this ugly woman."

The very next day, the second man accidentally hits a duck. Poof! St. Peter arrives, and with him is another unbelievably ugly woman. He handcuffs the two together and sentences the man to remain chained to her for all eternity.

The third man is determined not to end up like his buddies, so he is extremely careful. He manages to golf for months without mishap. And one day, Poof! St. Peter appears with an absolutely gorgeous woman. He chains the two together without a word and vanishes. The man stares at this goddess, this vision of perfection with whom he will now spend eternity, and says, "Whatever did I do to deserve you?" The woman says, "I don't know about you, but I hit a duck."

Why don't you ever bring a duck with you into the washroom?

Two Happy Ducks

A duck walks into a bar. He looks like the happiest duck in the world. The bartender asks, "Why are you so happy today?"

The duck replies, "I've been playing in puddles all day." The duck proceeds to order a beer and enjoy it at the bar.

A little while later another duck walks in the bar. He looks like the second happiest duck in the world. The bartender asks, "Why are you so happy today?"

The duck gives the bartender the same answer, "I've been playing in puddles all day." This duck also orders a beer and enjoys it at the bar.

A third duck enters the bar, the total opposite of the first two ducks. He looks like the saddest duck in the world. The bartender asks the duck, "What's wrong with you?"

The duck replies, "My name is Puddles and I've had a terrible day."

A police officer pulls over the driver and informs him that he is speeding and then asks him where does he think he's going with all those ducks. The driver says that he just doesn't know what to do with them. The officer says, "Look, there's a zoo not far from here and that's where you should take them. That should take care of your problem." The man thanks the officer and drives off with the ducks.
The next day the officer again sees the pick-up truck once again speeding down the road. This time, though, all the ducks in the back are standing there with sunglasses. The officer pulls over the driver over and says, "I thought I told you to take them to the zoo!" "I did that," said the driver, "but now they want to go to the beach!"

A man walks into a bar with a paper bag. He sits down and places the bag on the counter. The bartender walks up and asks:

"So whaddaya got in the bag?"

The man responded by reaching into the bag and pulling out a little man, about one foot high, and he sets him on the counter. He reaches back into the bag and this time pulls out a small piano, setting it on the counter as well. He reaches into the bag once again and pulls out a tiny piano bench, which he placed in front of the piano. The little man sits down at the piano and starts playing a georgious piece by Mozart. Now the bartender is extremely curious about this odd sight, so he asks the man:

"Where the hell'd ya get that?"

The man responded by reaching into the paper bag, but this time he pulls out a magic lamp. He hands it to the bartender and says:

"Here. Rub it."

So the bartender rubs the lamp, and suddenly there's a gust of smoke, then a beautiful genie is standing before him.

"I will grant you one wish," she says.

The bartender gets excited by having a wish from a real genie. He had always dreamed about it, but now it's actually happening. So without even hesitating, he says:

"I want a million bucks."

So the genie nods her head and disappears in another gust of smoke. A few moments later, a duck walks into the bar. It is soon followed by another duck, then another. Pretty soon, the entire bar is filled with ducks. The bartender turns to the man and says:

"Y'know, I think your genie is a little deaf. I asked for a million BUCKS, not a million DUCKS."

To this the man responded:

"No ! Do you really think that I would have wished for a twelve-inch pianist?"

Not much - it was part of the course so he had us shoot three guns...

A .22 semi-auto
A .22 revolver
And a 9mm Glock.

The glock had a lot more kick to it then I expected... I assume the .40 is a bit beyond that.. I wish they weren't so expensive...

Biggie, I the 229 used for about 550.. . I'm seriously considering selling it to get a HK P2000SK... I think that may be the only gun I will ever change to.

Hey you two, I'll have you know that I was once quite good with guns. I went to hunter training camp for 4 days in grade 8, had to make my own shelter, start a fire without matches, live on things we gathered in the woods and learn to shoot a rifle and a handgun. Of course I almost killed someone, but that was totally not my fault. ;)

Joking? I wish I could say I was, but sadly, no. No one was hurt, it was just close, that's all. Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and nuclear weapons. ;)

I love shooting also! My brother who is always catching me off guard, had me shoot a .410 shotgun when I was 12. He didn't tell me to snug it to my shoulder. He has it on video and although I thought I snugged it, it kicked me back a few yards. LOL

I hunt with a .357 magnum rifle... took my first deer down, kill shot first shot, the day after I bought the gun and sighted it in just before dark. Had to travel to another town to purchase it. I handle a .357 pistol and a .22 revolver. I also have a matched set of Colt .22 deringers that shoots .22 shorts.

Aug 25, 2008, 09:33 PM
A cougar came in under my tree I was in, just a flash and there it was. I barely moved and we were eye to eye. Amazing moment. I was deer hunting with the .357 rifle but had the .357 pistol and had my hand on it as the cougar came in and circled my tree. It was so beautiful. It slowly moved out again. My contacts were getting really dry from the cold air and my trying not to even blink. I barely moved to get a better view of the cougar and he turned and looked right back at me, eye to eye. When I finally had to blink, I deep blinked and there was absolutely no sound made by the cougar but he was gone! Just one of those moments you want to encapsulate in your mind forever... at one with nature just for a few amazing moments!

I love fishing also... went yesterday and do I ever have the excuses for not catching anything... the wind was up, water was choppy, the water level is much higher from all the flood rains, the cows were all laying down... I should have known to just go home... you know, if the cows are standing up eating, good fishing, if they are laying down, may as well go home. I told my nephew that when I took him fishing. That was a jaw-dripping moment for that little guy who had never even roasted a hot dog out side and we did that also, down by the water. :) I had a good one on the line but didn't set the hook good enough and lost that one! Hey there Sneezy! Rebound effect on the little white pills... actually, went to bed and it was so cold in the house, had to get up and adjust air temp so checked the thread!! My brother had motorcycles most of my life... he is eight years older than I. He rode a big white "Indian Chief". They quit making them for awhile but started up again about five years ago maybe, not sure... anyway... when I was 14, my dad asked me if I would like to have a motorcycle. Are you kiddin' me?? I had been putting a piece of cardboard on my bicycle spokes for years with a clothes pin to make it sound a tiny bit like a bike... LOL Way before your time Mr Sneezy!! Anway... I digress... of course I said a resounding YES!! Dad said a guy had two so let's go look at them and see which one I wanted. The man had taken them in as payment for work done on a man's car. One was a little cushman type and then there was this cute little Honda 50 Sport, five speed, four stroke engine RED and I fell in love with it. Took it right then and there. I learned to ride it in our front lawn then in an 11 acre field across from our house. I would ride from the time I got in from school until dark... rode in the snow, rain, heat, whatever. I was always getting grounded for my "tone of voice" but after I would ride, all my cares would go away and I was a sweet kid. Hardly ever got grounded after that! LOL

I got stopped by cops all the time, "Do you have a license to drive that little girl?" Grrrrhhhh! YEPPER! When the helmet law went into effect here, they had some helmets that were available for purchase through the school. I was one of the first to get one. Rarely wore it. Anyone who rides, knows the feeling of the air through their hair and on their face, can't be compared to wearing a helmet... takes some of the freedom away, however, when I was in college, I did get hit by a truck. My friend riding with me wore my helmet and I did not wear one. I slid down the street on my back, thinking "CHIN TO CHEST" "CHIN TO CHEST"!! My parents were out of town so my brother had to go to the hospital with us... scared them all to death. We both were injured but had my friend not had on my helmet, she could have really been hurt. Her head hit the side of the truck. My foot got messed up, we were sort of in shock. A man came over and gave me his business card, said he had called the cops, and would testify for me if need be as he saw the whole thing. Anyway, had the bike fixed, got a Harley Davidson later but it was not a low rider and just too much bike for me. If you have looked in Member Photos, you have seen my black Rebel! I wanted a Shadow but ended up with the Rebel. It is a good bike for in town but not a good highway bike but I do ride in on the highway. It goes fast enough but just feels like it is going to lift off the ground, especially in a cross wind. (I still have my little Honda Sport-the clutch plate is stuck so not running at the present time). I will clip a pic of me on my little Red Honda... I think I was 16 at the time of this photo... EONS ago just after the dinosaurs roamed the earth!! :p :p :p

11558

(I am very sorry for your mother's loss of her brother. Too many bikers do lose their lives and many times because other driver's think a bike can stop on a dime and don't realize, they need to respect them as much as a car or truck.)

You know, Angel, better known as "The Deputy" is nice enough to allow me to keep the Rebel in my cell... it is sort of like my security blanket!!

Hey there little Starby!! Silly little girl, the cows aren't in the water. The cows are in the pasture land that we see on our way to the lake, river, dam, etc. and the fish are in the water... hmmmm, well, given that it is now 3:45 a.m. and I am not much good after 1:30 a.m. the cows might be in the water and the fish may be grazing in the grass... interesting concept! I might have more luck catching fish in the pasture come to think about it. Hey have you ever gone "noodlin?" You are such a daring young thing, I bet you have. I loved reading your story Rebby, as I always do! I like your cutie little pose you have on your bike! One hot... well warm... little biker chick! Now you're a Hot Biker Chick! :D

I'm a little scared of bikes myself. Not of the bike, but like you mentioned, the other drivers that don't respect people riding a bike. My Uncle and his (then) wife, were almost killed too on my Dad's Honda, when I was young. They lost the bike on gravel though. It was spring, and the first nice day, and the city hadn't yet cleaned the roads of the gravel they had put down for the ice and snow. They rounded a sharp corner and lost control. My Uncle was in traction in the hospital for six months, and now has steel plates and pins everywhere in his body.

When I was about 15, my sister and I were at the mall, and met up with a friend we knew from school. We noticed him because he was wearing a tux. He had just gotten his Grad Pics taken. We were talking to him, and he took us out to the parking lot to see what his parents had bought him for a graduation present. It was a brand new bike! (not sure, but I think it was also a Honda of some sort) He told me and my sister that he would take us for a ride! Although we both really wanted to go, neither one of us wanted to be left alone standing at the mall. We told Darwin we would take the bus instead, and meet him downtown, because our friends were down there, and then we would each go for a ride. Well we were riding the bus, and all these ambulances and police cars were screaming by us, and we wondered what was going on. We got downtown, and there was Darwin in pieces all over the road. (sorry for the graphics of that) A truck ran a red, and hit him broadside and sent him flying. Dead before he even knew what hit him.

So, I'm a little leary (or should I say scared to death) of bikes for that reason. Two of my ex's (A&N ;) ) had bikes, and would always get ticked off at me because I wouldn't go riding with them. I did once, just around the city with "N", and I was probably more of a danger to him driving, because I was shaking so hard I was distracting him, and squeezing the air out of him. Either that or he was getting really excited because I was shaking so bad the bike was vibrating! LOL!! ;)

So yeah, I'm a liiiittttllle bit terrified of being on a bike! I would like to have the "hair blowin in the wind" feeling... but I opt to be stuck in a fibreglass box with wheels! :p :D

Odd you say that. I have my enduro now but am seriously considering getting a gsx-r or something similar and will have to do a lot of convincing. Wow, you had a horrible experience losing your friend on the bike. I am so sorry. Gosh, I hope my post doesn't make everyone too sad here at the Sanitarium. I guess we all have horror stories and I was fortunate when the truck hit me. The cop told the driver that he was citing him for "failure to yield". The guy said, "I stopped at that stop sign" (maybe he did but he tried to rush across the intersection and there was no time to get stopped with traffic on my left, high curb on the right, just had to turn to the right and hit him sideways or hitting him head one would have probably propelled my friend right over the truck. The bike hooked onto the truck then as he was trying to stop, the bike let go and there I was sliding down the street on my back). The cop told the guy in a very disgusted voice, "You are suppose to wait until there is nothing coming!!!" The guy started to pick up my bike out of the road. Daddy had always told me when in a wreck, never move the vehicle so I holler, "Get your hands off my bike!" :o Well, he did! LOL

One friend of mine ran into a fence, knocked his nose off, another couple from high school missed a curve and he was killed, she was injured but not badly. My sister ran my brother's bike through a barbed wire fence. A guy and my boyfriend lost one on some loose gravel but was not hurt too badly. Man, guess I have been more fortunate than I realize. Not long ago, a guy was doing a wheely at midnight through a light in downtown Tulsa, huge intersection and got hit and killed. Bikes are hard to see anyway sometimes and his light was straight up in the air so even harder to be seen.

One funny story: Just after I had learned to ride the baby Honda, I was so excited and wanting to learn all I could as fast as I could. My brother-in-law said, "Petie (family nickname, let's not let that one stick here though, k?), sit way back on the back of the seat, ok, now pull in the clutch, put it in gear, now reve that engine and let go of the clutch!" Well, trusting soul that I am, listened ever so intently and did just as he said... when I popped the clutch, I was doing a wheely, then slid off the back of the bike and was running behind it trying not to let it crash. So much for trust... at least I was in the front yard, not on gravel. Oh by the way, he is no longer part of our family!! LOL He wasn't trustworthy in more ways than one!

Hope that little funny story lifts some of the sadness. I must be more careful however!! Reading about these stories will make me more cautious. One tends to feel indestructable at times, huh!

Starty, that was so sweet!!

In answer to your question... ah... no?? LOL

Walking, driving cars, skateboarding, all can be dangerous but bikers do run a risk. When my son comes home and wants to ride the Rebel, he must wear the helmet at all times, his kids have to wear a helmet when he takes them even around the yard on it, and he gets cautions out the wazooooooooooo before he takes off on it. He doesn't ride often which increases his chances of not being aware enough of the dangers.

But I got to tell you, there is so much wonderment that comes to me as I ride and I just see all the beauty of nature along the way in a different light than I do while riding in a car. For me, got to ride that bike!! :p

Very good thanks you. How are you love? I went and got my daughter enrolled in Middle School.....
Happy Birthday to your baby girl!!:D

Thanks Starty, I can't believe that my baby is 6 years old already. Sigh, time sure flies by fast. :(

She's so happy, she got a webkinz for her birthday, a cute little golden retriever, it's so cool. :)

Morning Lil Bro, how are you today? Wow 6:30pm it's 9:30am here in Canada. My day is just starting and it's a gloomy, cold, yucky August day.

I hope the weather is better for you. :)

Oh Gosh! Today's the day!! Happy Birthday to your sweet little one. She is a doll. You will blink your eyes and she will be married with kids of her own... well, maybe not that fast but happens all too quickly. Enjoy the day! :p

Lil Bro, good morning, its 8:30 here... ;)
Reb, Jett has a cool battery powered one, and I am sure that it won't be the end, he needs more power! LOL
I love bikes too, just not so good at NOT slamming them into fences, don't laugh, it was fun... (more than once):):) Have a great day out today Reb...
Alty, they grow so fast, I can't feel myself right now, my oldest has a girlfriend, Davy is in Middle school, and starting to really show it! Jett and Max are a year apart but they seem as if they aren't put together... I mean they are so good, so smart, but they do the stupidest things... like take capri suns and step on them, touch stuff they shouldn't, they are so rough with everything, it is great, they are boys. That's fine with me, we live in the country, but it seems as if they need to just STOP, DROP, and THINK... from now on before they get hurt or something, or make mama cry cause she has to many messes to clean up.
I hope you all have a nice day. I am going to need to bake, I feel a bit down for some reason...
Reb, your picture was a nice gift this morning, seriously, I say make it NUMBER ONE here. I loved it, thanks

 Married, with kids? :p

Thanks Rebbie. Yes, I can't believe that 6 years have gone by since I brought that little bundle home. It seems like just yesterday that I held a newborn Sydney in my arms. She was such a good baby, and a real cutie.

I'm going to be making an angel food cake later today. Tonight is just the kids, Wiggy and me. We'll be having her party after school starts, so she can invite all her friends. :)

Jared's birthday is on September 4, he'll be 10 then. Time flies by so very fast, for all of us. ;)

Starty, that was so sweet!!!

In answer to your question..................................ah...... ...............no????????

But I gotta tell ya, there is so much wonderment that comes to me as I ride and I just see all the beauty of nature along the way in a different light than I do while riding in a car. For me, gotta ride that bike!!! :p

I know how you feel - I too love riding along as passenger on a bike! Believe it or not, it's less painful to ride the bike than sitting in a car and going around corners - the back actually feels good when I ride. And the scenic routes just still take my breath away. Whether on a horse, bike, scateboard, or anything else - as long as you have fun in your life - do it! If we all just worried about getting hurt, we should never even leave home or get in the shower or bathtub - a lot of accidents can happen there too.
So, the moral is - enjoy life, it's too short, and have fun when you can.

Going to be off more than on for the next few days due to health issue, but will keep in touch.

Lots of love and hugs!

Hello everyone! My parents just called... they're on the way down to see my apartment. ::gulp::

It's always a bit nerve racking when parents come by... huh?

Got to hide the drinks. The wine too. Parents aren't drinkers... and heavily frown upon it :(

Did I miss anything?

You see... my parents didn't visit me the entire time I was in college (I was... 30 minutes away)... and now, all of a sudden... they're coming!!

Sneezy, do the dance of he butterfly, that's what we call the quick clean when people call and say "Be over in 5 minutes". It consists of putting things in the closet, shoving things under the bed, flushing the toilet, you know, the usual. ;)
