I'm just nervous about the kind I'm taking.
And I don't want to become pregnant anytime soon.

If I have unprotected sex and I'm taking birthcontrol could I still get pregnant?

Antibiotics for sure can decrease the effectiveness of BC. Call any pharmacy and talk to the pharmacist, they will be HAPPY to help you, they will be able to tell you if the drugs you are taking will interact. Don't worry, they will not judge you, it is their job and they would love to help.No bad will come of calling for help. In the meantime, keep taking your BC as you're supposed to and use a back-up method like condoms if you have sex.
