How Can I Dye My Natural Black Hair Blonde Without First Using A Peroxide

You have to use a two step process to get black hair to a blonde shade. There is no other way. The first step is a prelightening stage. This strips out all the color in your hair. Your hair will then be a light orangeish color. It takes about one hour to do this properly. You then will have to use a toner to bring it to the proper shade of blonde you wish. This process is very hard on your hair if done incorrectly or correctly for that matter. Your roots will grow out and show much, much quicker the more contrasting color your hair is. I did the double process on my hair 30 years ago but my hair was dark brown and not black. Even though I did everything right it still was quite a chore to do myself.

Essentially there is no easy fix for your problem. There must be a peroxide solution in there somewhere to lighten your dark hair.
