I have a Sanyo DVD player and want to view some DVD's that I have. Unable to view them. Have tried several different things including the TV button, AUX button and nothing happens. Please advise the proper procedure to enable me to view my discs.

I don't understand what Dish network has to do with your wanting to view DVD's. To the best of my knowledge Dish does not provide a receiver that will let you play DVD's on it.

Now if you want to connect your Sanyo DVD into the circuit with the Dish receiver and TV, the normal installation would be, The output of the Dish Receiver would go to the Input of the DVD. The output of the DVD would go to the input of the TV.

There are several cabling arrangements available to make the connection.

For example, HDMI - Picture & Sound, Component - RBG ports (Video Only) must bring sound from the DVD to the TV or AVR.

Composite (Video) Yellow, Audio - White /Red and last but least RF (Coax) Picture and sound.
