I have been dying my hair and straightening it for a long time now. I straighten it every day because my hair is naturally curly. Because of this my hair is very dead and dried out. And I know other people who straighten and dye their hair more that I do and it does not look to be as damged as mine. Is there any way that I can solve this problem? Because now that it is dry it won't grow very much and I really want to grow it out.

Thanks
Much love!

Hi just a idea my sister been bleaching her hair to get it blonde and its always dead a dry for a while to get it back to life she uses pantene prov for dry damaged hair but she keeps the conditioner on her hair for about 20-30 minutes daily then rinses it out if you have the time daily to do it you can try it.. it does take prob about a week or two to get better...

Cholesterol does wonders for dry damaged hair. You'll see and feel a difference the first time you use it. You can find it in the black peoples hair care products section. Yes I'm white, and if you're thinking what I thought... no it dose not make your hair look greasy at all.
Also as already said, use straighting gel. Then if you still feel like you need to use the iron you won't have to have the straighting iron on a high setting or use it on your hair as long.

Thanks for your answers guys!
I already have been using deep conditioner but maybe I will start leaving it in longer and see what happens.:)
