Abortion is a big event for your body. It probably caused some bleeding right afterwards. Give it some time. Use protection every time. Test for pregnancy if you want (but you're probably not pregnant.) If you haven't had your period by 2 weeks into the new year, see a doctor.

Not every woman will have periods exactly 30 days apart. An abortion is also very stressful for your body, its likely that physical and mental stress due to that is changing your cycle this month.

Wait a week or two and if it still doesn't come, contact your doctor for a follow up.

It's hard on your body anyway, and stress could be what it is. I would see a doc. If you don't get in a couple weeks, like LearningAsIGo said. At least you will have peace of mind. Maybe if you call planned parenthood, they can give you their opinion. I've never had an abortion, so I don't know, but it could be very common. Don't worry too much yet! :)
