Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way to escape the temper flair ups.
I found them easier to deal with when I had a plan of what to do when I felt one coming on.
For instance, when you feel your temper rising, get a nice cold drink and chill out in your office, or just something that works for you if you can.

Oh terrific... I have just read in the newspaper that two of the prescription pills that I am taking (one for over 3 years) have been put on the FDA's list for more study. Apparently they both are causing people to commit suicide! One is Singulair for respiratory problems and the other is CHANTIX!

Can't win for trying can you? Probably nothing to worry about combined only 123 people have committed suicide...

I have been Either hiding in my bedroom in la la land. Or hiding in Church on a daily basis for Holy week. Or Just plain old passing out and do not get on the computer anymore. When I am on the computer no one is no where to be found. I guess we have all been doing something new and different that brings us here at different times. I have been spending a lot of time on the go, even the weekends are full of something now. I actually think a silent retreat and 40 days and 40 nights of silence would do me fine. Cowboy Boots

(Anyone who has ever dressed a child will love this one!)

Did you hear about the Texas teacher who was
Helping one of her kindergarten students put
On his cowboy boots?

He asked for help and she could see why.

Even with her pulling and him pushing, the little
Boots still didn't want to go on. By the time they
Got the second boot on, she had worked up a sweat.

She almost cried when the little boy said,
'Teacher, they're on the wrong feet.'
She looked, and sure enough, they were.

It wasn't any easier pulling the boots off than
It was putting them on. She managed to keep
Her cool as together they worked to get the
Boots back on, this time on the right feet.

He then announced, '... These aren't my boots.'

She bit her tongue rather than get right in his face
And scream, 'Why didn't you say so?', like she
Want ed to. Once again, she struggled to help him
Pull the ill-fitting boots off his little feet. No sooner
Had they gotten the boots off when he said,

'They're my brother's boots. My Mom made me wear 'em.'

Now she didn't know if she should laugh or cry.
But, she mustered up what grace and courage
She had left to wrestle the boots on his feet again.

Helping him into his coat, she asked,
'... Now, where are your mittens?'

He said, 'I stuffed 'em in the toes of my boots.'

She will be eligible for parole in three years

Ham cheese broccoli quiche is what I'm making tonight.
It's baking as I type!

2 pie crusts (thaw out)
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 lb ham cut in small cubes
1 package frozen broccoli
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 8oz cup sour cream
6 eggs
Milk (about 1/2 a cup) maybe 3/4 c, I just poor a little in at a time.

Preheat oven 400 F

Layer chopped broccoli, ham, and cheese in pie crust.

Beat together eggs, soup, sour cream
Then add a little milk
Continue to beat and add milk until mix is smooth
Then poor in pie crusts on top of filling

Sprinkle some cheese on top

Bake 30 to 45 minutes - keep checking it though, mines not done cooking though so I'm not positive about the time:)

Edit - OK, it's safe to say that it is not 30 minutes LOL

I had my own strawberries once, but the squirrels would eat them or carry them off to their nests.
We ended up keeping them going just for the squirrels but those pesky little buggers ended up killing all the plants (or either I did and just don't know it LOL)

I've thought about planting other stuff before but haven't as of yet.

Lots of pressure on the job, the stupid kind that gives you headaches and stress.

Funny, as you know my son works for me, and the other day we were driving to a seminar and these pressures were pretty high. I guess I was covering every subject in our business that there was. After about a half hour into this he turned, looked at me, smiled and asked; "when did you say Marta is coming back?" OK, I got it... :rolleyes:

Ok, to be very honest, I managed to stop for about five days. I have come to a compromise, I am now trying this on a "slow down to quit" basis. (Somewhat ashamed of myself for not stopping completely)

I was smoking about 40 to 45 a day before, now I am doing 10 to 15 a day. I know that is still not good, but I wanted to be honest with you and myself here. I am planning on reducing these as the weeks go by.

I know it's not good, but I don't want to look at this a complete failure; this is 30 less cigarettes a day. And hopefully it will get to zero.

It is very tough, and the stress can make a difference... :mad:

It is COLD and rainy!
For 3 days I've had to wear a Jacket.
Where did the nice pretty weather go?

It snowed today so I'm so not in the mood to do spring cleaning. My tulips popped up a few weeks ago but I think they might have died of fright because of the snow. Yucky, sucky snow, I hate it.

I used to use Pinesol also, but then discovered OrangeClean and Quick&Brite, changed everything... they clean everything, are biodegradeable and compared to other prices, are fully worth it.

Alty, you have to choose, but if I had to make a choice, I wouldn't have watched it. No questions, no suspense, and it was a musical. Johnny Depp did a great job singing, but I couldn't grasp it. It was extremely boring and the gory scenes were boring as well. I just didn't really like it!

Morning everyone! House is amazingly picked up ( I worked yesterday that is why it is amazing) I thought I would come home to disaster, but nope! Nice family had it all done for me!

Morning sweet stuff, I wouldn't watch it, I am a weeny and never watch scary movies. It was not scary at all, it sucked actually! I thought it would be something as good as Edward Scissor Hands, but nothing like it nor close to being as good...

We have different views on this one... I am a huge Tim Burton fan, and I love the acting, they did what they were supposed to do. I just took it as boring. If I can get up four times and not pause it, it wasn't good for me. I like the movies that you have to catch every word, every facial expression, every foot step. :)

Start, I need to do some yard work.
I planted a cherry tree last fall, and as beautiful (and still alive) as it is, I need to dig it up and replant it somewhere else.
I'm also excited about growing veggies and need to get on the ball.
But I must get dressed first LOL... and it's farkin cold!!
I know I said I wouldn't complain anymore, but sorry everyone

It snowed here last night (in easter what are the chances :) ) I was so pleased, I love snow (seeing as we hardly ever get it here) but then when in got up this morning it had all melted and I was sad again :(

I love snow but I guess that's because I never get any.
A half inch of slush was this years snow storm.
I saw some footage of snow in Canada and was amazed that people were out shoveling their vehicles getting ready to leave, go to work, just carrying on like normal.
