Okay so I have been doing my hair for the LONGEST TIME. I want something different . I only dye it different colors. I never experimented with two colors at once and I decided I wanted Black hair but with white streaks. You know how you see people with black hair and white streaks or solid white hair and black streaks. Well I WOULD LOVE to do my hair that way but honestly I have NO IDEA if I need to bleach it first and get it white and then get black streaks or what. Yes, I know right now I sound really dumb but that's besides the point any opinions or ideas on what I could do? Currently my hair is brown and black. Its black with brown streaks. I just want something different and I honestly don't have the money to have it done right my a professional or I would so any tips? :D

Getting the white streaks would require bleaching and toning,so don't do it yourself. Just hold off until you can afford to see a professional.

What will be done is :

Dye the whole head black, then foil under the strips of hair where you want the streaks, bleach applied wait a buit blah blah, then when the bleaching is done, the strips of hair that are bleached will have toner applied on them to get rid of the yellow.

I would Not Not NOT suggest trying it at home. You could mess up all your hair.

Since your current hair color is black with brown streaks, all you need to do is bleach the brown streaks to a yellow stage and then apply a white toner to achieve results. If going to the salon isn't an option, ask someone that's experienced in hair coloring to help you with the coloring process.
