Hi there,
I can't delete ssqpnon.dll file from C:\WINNT\system32 dir, it's infected, while trying it came up with a message "is used by other program"!!
Can anybody suggest something?:confused:

You are not going to be able to delete it. I had the same problem its attached to your windows software that's why it being used by another program. Try using a boot disk to restart windows or reinstall windows all together I had other infected programs so I had to reformat and reinstall windows. Good luck

Most nasty dlls are the vundo infections but run all the steps below . And if it does not go follow the hijackthis experts.
1. Download and run Firefox to protect your from future spyware attacks and pop ups which are coming in through internet explorer (Trojan downloaders, win32 ) .Then update your windows through Firefox

Also install internet explorer 7 which is now free for everyone oct2007

This should stop 50% of the spyware and popups attacking your computer
2. Run the vundo and combo fix

3. Run the anti spyware remove programs spybot

To get rid of the nasties
4. Run a free online virus scan to be sure you computer is virus and spyware free.

5. Get the clean up tools to clean up the spyware from your temp folder (the place they are stored when downloaded by internet explorer)

WHAT DO YOU DO IF EVERYTHING FAILS TO REMOVE THE SPYWARE or You are not sure your computer is spyware and virus free?
