I know the exact day I ovulated because we've been trying to get pregnant. I do not have regular cycles, so I cannot count on the "so many days after your missed period" to take a home pregnancy test. My question is, how many days after ovulation can you take a home pregnancy test?

I would say wait 2 weeks after ovulation to take a hpt. If you were on a regular 28 day cycle 2 weeks after ovulation would be when your next period would come. Maybe if you wait 2 1/2 weeks you can be sure. Someone else that has experienced this might have better advice.
