I'm 22, my girlfriend is 24. Her sex drive is higher than mine. She wants to have sex probably every other day and I only want to do it when I have that urge... seems to be once a week. I used to watch porn before I was with her, she made me stop. We've been together for about 3 years now. In the beginning we had sex probably 2-3 times a week. I'm NOT watching porn on the side, I'm NOT cheating on her with somebody else, I'm NOT depressed, I DO FIND HER ATTRACTIVE. She is depressed because I don't want to have sex as often as she would like. We spend all day together because she has a part time job and I'm still in school. We have our own place so nobody is around to bother us. I love her very much. I want to spend every second I have with her. I love cuddling with her and holding hands, etc... but when it comes to sex, I'm just not as interested in it as she is... Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: She has had two previous partners and I've had two previous partners. We also purchased a vibrator for her, she was happy with that for maybe 6 months, now she wants more of me...

Its normal. Men and women reach their sexual peaks at different times... women later than men. You both need to sit down and discuss your feelings and then come to a decision. I would suggest finding alternate ways for her to vent her sexual energy. Start dance lessons together, salsa is exceptionally sexual, or start yoga, or some form of martial arts... but do it together.

We've sat down and talked it over. We never get anywhere though. We considered exercise, but we always seem to make excuses to get out of it. There isn't any type of medication that can make her less sexually demanding or any medication that can make me more sexually demanding?

My suggestion is if you have problems performing and meeting her needs to give oral.

It isn't the same as intercourse... even a lot of oral might bore her in time, as she might want to feel you inside her.

But I have a hard time faulting a healthy sex drive, and I don't think hers is out of whack. At least oral might give her some fix while you muster up the interest.

There are supplements you can take to increase your libido. Not viagra or anything - but an herbal supplement. If you think this is getting in the way of your relationship - you could give that a try. They work and they are natural - a bit pricey, but worth it.
I don't think you would want to lessen her drive - you should be happy that she wants to have sex with you so oftern - normally - we would be responding to a woman instead of a man - so count yourself lucky.

Count your blessings she is that eager... take my word that you don't want someone who has a sex phobia , mental hangups, or is just frigid. Trust me those three categories are unfortunately quite common.

I would like to take a moment and thank all of you for these posts! Ya see, I usually spend time on Engineering issues and there Never seems to be much humor within those categories. Just the other day I was accused of being condescending when I was simply being sarcastic... that's what I get for trying to 'lighten things up'!
