Hi... I think he gets into mood and can't control

Men are usually visually stimulated creatures. He can't see you through the phone, so he's not really getting into it. It may be that he feels awkward because he's not getting all that aroused holding onto a receiver.

I never got why some men like phone sex. Seems completely contrary to their natures. But obviously there are enough of them out there to keep those late night "hotlines" in business. Go figure!

Maybe you should roll play in front of each other in person pretending to be on the phone make him have an orgasm. Then next time maybe the real thing won't seem so weird.

Maybe you should ask him what the problem is. If he says he's just uncomfortable, you should leave it at that. Don't try forcing it on him, it might just freak him out more and make the situation even more awkward.

I have the same problem with my boyfriend and he said he don't like it because it is to awkward. He said the most reason is the its just not the same and it makes him feel stupid and he would rather the real thing so he can be able to touch me and stuff like that. As you have herd many Guys don't enjoy phone sex. That's a shame because I have spent many hours over the years chatting to Ladies sexually and found it very exciting and so did they. That's not to say it can take the place of being together in person but it sure can open the doors to foreplay so when you do get together the sparks fly hehehe.

Maybe if you try to make it more sexual talking (story / roleplaying) and not as much trying to have sex over the phone it will help.
