I wish I would have waited. It is a wonderful thing to wait. Twenty nine is not very old. Stop fretting and just live your life. In the right time, you will meet a man that is worthy of the waiting game you are playing. Blessings to you.

I'm 27 and I'm still a virgin, I've never had a date either, simply because, despite fancying plenty of men I've been unable to go out wth them, ether they just see me as a friend or have partners. I admire anyone in this sexualised day and age to wait for the right person - it's frustrating, but I'd much rather lose it to a caring, sensitive lover then someone who couldn't care less and just screws me because he feels like de-flowering an inocent!;)
faithl,
You're not the only virgin in the UK who has never had a date.I have a 31 year old virgin male friend who has never been on a date.Am I playing matchmaker?? :p
faithl I'm a 36 year old virgin female and I wisah virgin can casual date the opposite sex without sex being an issue.
I thought I would answer your pain question... I was terrified of the pain. I have friends that said it was "horrible." (but they were also young and scared and in a hurry in the back of a car or at home hoping their parents wouldn't walk in!) As for me, when it finally happened it didn't hurt AT ALL. I was shocked. So I would suggest not to worry about that part, and instead to focus on it being with the right person, when you are ready.
