I drank about 5 1/2 beers on Saturday night. Quit drinking at about midnight. And I have to do an EtG test by 7pm tonight. That gives me 42 hours. I am female, 21, 120 lbs. I started drinking water right when I quit drinking, ate at midnight, then again at around 4:30 am. I have been drinking a lot of water consistently until 2pm today. I also took 2 pills of niacin yeaterday, and am taking a creatine solution. I have a lot riding on this. A good amount of jail time, and I don't need a lecture. I know I'm cutting it close, and it wasn't a smart decision. But the anxiety alone is not worth risking it again.

The following quote is from JudyKayTee, a member here at askmehelpdesk, who answered a similar question earlier.
"With some urine alcohol tests, alcohol can be detected up to around 48 hours after a person has ingested alcohol. With the EtG Urine Alcohol Test, however the presence of EtG in the urine demonstrates that ethanol alcohol was ingested within the past 3 or 4 days, or roughly 80 hours after the ethanol alcohol has been metabolized by the body."
If the above is true, it might be detected up to 80 hours.
I know you don't want a lecture, so I want give one. I quit drinking in 1992; about 20 years ago, and am 70 yrs old now. You can do it, too.
