Yeah, you will most likely fail.
Wich only one beer??
How long after the drink was the test?
Yeah, you will probably fail.
What do you mean by "what do you think I was?" There is no way to know until the lab tests are run.
There is no way to tell. There is too much that goes in to play here. You can only wait until the results come in. It is impossible to guess at this. You either pass or you fail. You will just have to wait it out.
According to an online calculator (and I may have put in incorrect information), the BAC would be 0.02 (theoretical) = "possible impairment."
Blood Alcohol Content Calculator - The Police Notebook
Important Note: There is no blood alcohol calculator that is 100% accurate because of the number of factors that come into play regarding the consumption and reduction (burnoff) rates of different people. Factors include the sex (male/female) of the drinker, differing metabolism rates, various health issues and the combination of medications that might be taken, drinking frequency, amount of food in the stomach and small intestine and when it was eaten, elapsed time, and others. The best that can be done is a rough estimation of the BAC level based on known inputs.
As J_9 said, wait for the test results and meanwhile hope you pass.
My state you are drunk by law at .8
Which is less than a 16 oz beer
It's going to depend on what kind of test it is and what level they consider unsafe. If you have to be legally drunk to have a problem, then you will probably be OK. If you only need to be impaired, you're probably going to fail. Since none of us work with you and none of us administered the test, we cannot tell you for sure how it will come out.
Essentially, it really makes no difference what we tell you anyway... whatever happens, happens. The test was already done so whatever the results are, you're not going to change them.
I think you mean 0.08. ;)Quote:

EtG/EtS (urine) tests are different from Breathalyzer tests.Quote:

If you blew into a machine you would already know if you passed or failed. Two to three hours later, you should have been okay. Breath testing is where the .08 is used. Though some places/jobs have a zero tolerance for alcohol use and .01 can be a fail. Did they draw blood for testing?
There is a test for measuring alcohol in the urine, but from what I have read it isn't used as much anymore.
If they took a urine sample to test for EtG, then you may have had a positive result. EtG tests are looking for the metabolites of alcohol (what the body breaks ethyl alcohol down into.). From what I have read, these 'markers' begin to show up in the urine approximately two hours after consumption. So it comes down to your metabolism, how sensitive the test is, and how much lee-way you are given.
