Pfft....the only secrets I get to know are the ones of "my season finale airs 4 days before your season finale!"

For such a small Island, there are a lot of people hiding on it. I lost interest in it during the first season when they kept showing repeat after repeat. I missed the without a trace season finalle and the close to home finalle was pretty good.
Laura as for your secret, it is killing me to learn it but girly have fun. Every woman needs a little secret once in a while to keep everyone interested. Hehe.
And yes, Joe, I'm sorry to say that wives kow all. It's abit frustrating and fun to have an edge once in a while. We see all and know all and it gets stronger when kids arrive.(really comes in handy with the kiddies around) and they have no idea how we know what they're up to.
To even suggest that we were kids once is enough to send them running into deep denial.

    Good morning one and all.
Everyone recovering from their weekend. Mine was extended cause the kids had Monday off. I have to tell you, I'm really peeved about something that happened yesterday. I saw it on the news and I felt like I got hit in the stomach. I'm watching the different memorial day coverages with servicemen and their families and in the crowd was people protesting. Holding up signs.
I'm thinking how dare they. I know we can say what we want. But isn't there a time and place? To some families these services are memorials for those they have lost. To see some unfeeling jerk holding up a sign just to get noticed stinks. In my mind its like protesting a funneral, which has been happening lately when a fallen soldier is laid to rest.
I'm sorry to spill like this but I feel this way because my father is a retired marine and my husband has recently returned from Iraq. By with the grace of God they could be the ones fallen. I hate feeling this way and I'll get over it. But I just had to get it off my chest.
Thanks for letting me sound off.(I know I've used up my venting rqtions for a while.)

Good morning everyone. I don't like it either. Some people have no common decency in their heart or mind. Just remember even when it isn't memorial day, that when you see your service men and women, it helps them a little when you say thanks! Just thought I would tell you that I sat around smokers this weekend at one point and I didn't ask for one. As hard as it has been, I don't want to be a smoker again! Thank you all for that. Hugs AND kisses today!

Chippers, those people just have no concept of human decency.

People like that should be forced to go through etiquette classes, or forced to actually SPEAK with the people they are hurting through their actions.

    /great big hugs

Memorial day, Everybody keeps talking about this holiday. I guess it is an american holiday.

We have Remembrance Day here in Canada and it is always on November 11.

We also just recently have had a canadian soldier die in Afhgasthan, sorry if I did not spell it right. Turns out he is a native in the small town that we live in.

Close to home. It happens everyday, and we all need to respect their funerals.

It is very sad and disrespectful to protest on a day like Memerial day or Remembrance Day. We all need to be respectful no matter what we may think or believe.

I personally am against iraq war but that does not mean we disrespect anybodies deaths. The people who go and fight, or the innocents that were lost. We need to remember all sides and all people who are effected by this.

Memorial Day is about the same thing as Remembrance Day. We remember our ALL of our fallen heroes on Memorial Day, from all wars. I believe that the difference for Veteran's Day is that it was to remember the Armistice from WWI, but I'm not sure on that for sure, and don't have the time to look it up.

Anyway, Memorial Day is a bigger deal here in the states, only because we get the day off from work. For Veteran's Day, most of us just take a minute of silence (or at least I do). At 11:11 AM.
