Yeah... the 3 week mark was AWFUL. I was bawling because I was craving so badly. Hold strong! You can do it!

In other news, I didn't get the internal job I applied for. Kind of a bummer on a Friday morning, with the whole day to get through before I can go home and be mad/upset.

Oh Synnen I didn't know you had put in for it? Crap. Boy I know that feeling. One time I put in for an internal job 5 different times and other people got the nod. It really hurts your feelings. But I didn't give up nor did I let their not picking me, bring me down, I just kept at it and finally got it the 6th time.

But for now, I know it really stinks. Did you go and ask why. Even just to make them squirm... hee hee.

The last time I didn't get it, I wasn't so much hurt as I was mad. I went to the very top, put on the professional face, and said, where was I lacking and what areas can I improve in order to be selected. He went on this whole speal about why the candidate was picked. I said I am very happy for so and so (grrrrr), but I really would like to know
What I can do to improve. Do you know what he said... he said... Life is not fair. Boy I was hot with that answer. But, I did finally get it the next time.

So Keep your head up Synnen!!

It's a small company. That position isn't going to be open again unless the person they chose quits. It's a new position entirely, which is about the only way to move in the company.

I've just dusted off my resume and I'm starting to look elsewhere.

Just... why tell you first thing in the morning? That's just mean, if you ask me.

And they always do it on a Friday. Just try and outwardly accept it with grace and inside
    Well, you know :).

This may be the inspiration you needed to see what's out there.

Sorry Synnen, it stinks. Put extra bubbles in your bubble bath :)

    Many hugs (... )

Oh, I don't GET bubble baths this weekend.

My parents are moving, my mom is panicking, so I'm making the 5 hour drive tonight to see what I can do to help her this weekend. Which means I'll have to deal with my sister (that's a long story, but suffice to say my sister is a conniving b!tch) being horrible, my mom crying, my dad mad because my mom is crying, and not even having the chance to be upset about this until probably Sunday night.

/sigh... ever notice that it all always hits at once?

    PS--Thanks for the hugs!

Oh synnen, I'm sorry. Hey, don't focus on your sister. Tune her out!! Just your parents.
You are right. It always always comes like a flood. My Dad and My Father-in-law died a week a part. That was a blast!! I told my husband, I think God does that as if there is so much going on, our brains can't really focus on one thing and get swept up under it.
This way we are in one big huge swirl and will end up just breezing threw it.

    Much love,

Oh goodness... how horrible for you!

The very worst part of all of this is that right now, our computer system is down, so I can't even just concentrate on work to get through the day, because I don't HAVE any work without the system.

    Grrrr.

    Hugs to everyone.

Find the shelter within the storm instead of seeking freedom from the storm (not that you were LOL). Your peaceful presence will make more solid effect than you might ever realise. Breathe and release the tension, a deep breath too... as often as necessary. Like a mini-meditation.

Oh Laura, my goodness. When that happens, don't you feel like you are in the land of bizarre!!

I remember hubby sitting in the family room while we were in between funeral services, and for some reason I went to the living room and looked out the window. Guess what, one of the windows was cracked right down the window.

I went to hubby and I said, honey, sometimes God gives us some other things to think about when we are going through tough times...

Really what can you do at that point but throw your hands in there air.

Ohhhhhh I so want to be your twin... so so so so. :):):). I'll be weird I don't care :):). Hee hee

Oh but no twin of mine is going to smoke... just a little poke. :)

That drives me nuts when the computer goes down. Work just stops! We are in serious dodo sometimes with everything being computerized.

Oh syn, I know how you feel. I remember going for a job I really wanted. And was turned down for someone else. I felt so down on myself but I kept thinking that I'm still working and there was always next time.

I remember losing my grandmothers within months of each other. My maternal grandmother's loss hit me hardest because she raised me for the first three years of my life. Losing her waslike losing my mother. So I can totally relate to anyone whose dealing with a loss. I also believe that god only gives us what he feels we can handle. It only makes us stronger

This day is never going to end.

The last hour has taken longer than the month of January took. Even with wanting a cigarette in January.

I wonder if I would get disinherited if I decided not to go this weekend?

    Be honest,
Tell them you've had a rough week at work and can't make it this weekend. That you're too tired and need to rest. If they love you the way you know they do, I'm sure they'll understand.

By the way, we wouldn't disinherit you from the top branch.

    Synnen,

Your doing so well. Days may be long, but you have support all around you. Your still up on that branch and I congratulate you.

Make it a rest weekend. I agree with Chippers. They should all understand.

Chippers - How are you doing? How is Mr. Chippers doing?

Allheart - I will send more pictures your way soon. P.S. Love the funny face. Mady me laugh.

Millie - Your experiancing new teeth, it will calm down and soon it will be all forgotten.

Laura - Those moments are precious. Hoping Millie is doing better and that you and Ben are relaxing and stress free right now.

    If I forget anybody, I did not mean too. Your all important and your all thought of up on that branch for many different reasons. (;

Hugs and Good Thoughts to everybody here.

Thanks for all of the support, you.

I did call home, and they have given me their blessing to stay home and double the bubble bath.

Seriously... thanks for all the help and support today. I really really needed it.

Synnen - So glad you will be double bubbling it :) Oh good for you!

Chippers - Praying for you and Mr. Chipper. He will do well and come out of this feeling better once he heals.

Laura - How are you today honey? And Ms. Millie, is she still being her cute self. Joe, is so right, these are those precious years.

Joe - Great, we always want to see more pictures of superbaby. You have just got to get him a shirt with a big S on it and take a picture of him in it for us to see :):)

Feeling tired today, think I will be taking a little siesta (did I spell that right. Hopefully spell check will help me, but sometimes even spell check doesn't recognize my words:confused: )

Many hugs and love to all.

Mr chippers has his surgery on Tuesday the 13th. He'll be home for a few weeks recovering. I may be on a flight to england to recover myself. But it'll be worth it. He's been hurting for a while and the vcioden doesn't help.

Syn, were here to give support. It's the promise we made to each other. Remember the ring of friendship.

Christine you're so sweet. What would we do without you. That's something I don't want to experience. Having all of you as friends has made me happier than I've been in a long time.

Joe, kisses to superbaby and I hope you're feeling better.

Laura, I hope you and Ben are getting some relaxation time and that millie is feeling better as well. Poor baby, I know those little toofins hurt

    Luv to all,

    CHippers

Ps. Laura, do you have a spare attic you can rent me if Mr. chippers gets on my nerves?
    Hehe. I'm bad:p

    Oh My Dearest chippers,

We will be thinking about Mr. Chippers. I know that pain (well Hubby had the same thing, but he didn't get the surgery, he had therapy). But boy he was in pain. That's why I am hoping Mr. Chippers feels so much better after the operation.

Many hugs to all and special big hugs to the Chippers clan.
