Oh CBW, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I wouldn't worry about the negative side of it. From the way you talk about what she does, Millie sounds like s toddler tornado. The way they fix it these days, they can plug it or over sew it.

It's thundering here and all the cats are hiding either beside me or under the bed.

Start I wouldn't worry about thinking you said something wrong. We can only hold things in for so long.the content might have been on point but the context needed work. I'm sure everyone from one time to another exploded and said something we regretted. But if you're honest about it, you probably felt better about it.

Syn, I'm a little glad you bummed a smoke and almost puked. Now you know you can't go back to them. Soooo as far as I'm concerned dear goddess, you are still on the top branch with the rest of us. According to the goddess rule book, two drags don't constitute falling off the branch. So don't beat yourself up too much over it. Now you know and learning is half the battle.

Tomorrow we're having a party at my brother's house.(lord help me) I'll be there with my sister in law without any possible modes of escape. She talks and talks and I swear she doesn't take a breath. But my niece and nephew are okay with her and so am I.(I keep rememering about Syn's tire iron) hehe. I soooooo love this group.

I followed my own rule in the goddess rule book and bought myself a birthday present, an Ipod nano. Ewveryone should show some self appreciation now and then. God knows we goddesses go under appreciated. (with the exception of Joe of course.) Hades have no wrath like a goddess with displeasure.

Alka, have a great weekend. Thank you for my lovely birthday treat. Take care of yourself in the heat and drink plenty of water.

Joe I can just imagine those wicked thoughts you might've had about Wonder Woman. As a kid I'd admired her for her strength and independence.

All heart, I saved the best for last, thank you for your wonderful ecard. As I've always said, you have the heart of an angel.
We all do but your's seems bigger.

    Love,

    Chippers

    Laura,

    I just read this. :(

I am so sad to hear that you got some not so good news about Millie.

I hope and pray that her heart heals up on its own. At least they know how to treat it and can actually fix this.

In my family we have had problems with different situations. Back in the days where they did not have all the great technology they have today.

Little Joshua had to be monitored for his heart as well, but they said that it did finally heal up on its own, I hope the same goes for Millie.

Laura - So so sorry I did not notice what you and millie went through until now. :o

Love you all. Hugs to everybody. :)

CBW - so sorry about your little miss, I am praying for her.

Chippers - You are welcome for the Birthday treat, and I will be nice and cool inside this weekend... aquarium tomorrow (inside) and b-day party Sunday (part in/out) and sleep on Monday (in my warm bed)... giggle.

Synn - Hope you won't have to try that again... let Johnny do it for you...

Well off to bed, just finished and submitted my math homework... and its very late...

My grandmother died from smoking because she didn't commit but my greataunt is still alive because she did. My advice is go see a doctor and get some medicine to get the nicotine out of you!! Then you won't be addicted. Once you have committed and then succeeded you will know how hard it was to save your life so don't start again!

Cow, thank you for your advice. I'm sorry about your grandmother. You're a very bright and caring girl and you're absolutely right. I wish more kids like you felt the same way about smoking. If they did then we wouldn't have such an epidemic of kids who smoke.
Take care and come back soon.

I think what laura meant was that synnen knows the lost finale. She already watched it.

I do not think she knows the secret, or could I completely be way off and wrong. Apparently my wife knows. Lol

OMG... did you expect some of that, Laura?

I've been biting my tongue all week not to spoil it for you! What's up with the forward flashes? There are already so many theories about who the funeral was for, and I think it was probably someone we haven't met yet.

Pfft... the only secrets I get to know are the ones of "my season finale airs 4 days before your season finale!"

For such a small Island, there are a lot of people hiding on it. I lost interest in it during the first season when they kept showing repeat after repeat. I missed the without a trace season finalle and the close to home finalle was pretty good.
Laura as for your secret, it is killing me to learn it but girly have fun. Every woman needs a little secret once in a while to keep everyone interested. Hehe.
And yes, Joe, I'm sorry to say that wives kow all. It's abit frustrating and fun to have an edge once in a while. We see all and know all and it gets stronger when kids arrive.(really comes in handy with the kiddies around) and they have no idea how we know what they're up to.
To even suggest that we were kids once is enough to send them running into deep denial.

    Good morning one and all.
Everyone recovering from their weekend. Mine was extended cause the kids had Monday off. I have to tell you, I'm really peeved about something that happened yesterday. I saw it on the news and I felt like I got hit in the stomach. I'm watching the different memorial day coverages with servicemen and their families and in the crowd was people protesting. Holding up signs.
I'm thinking how dare they. I know we can say what we want. But isn't there a time and place? To some families these services are memorials for those they have lost. To see some unfeeling jerk holding up a sign just to get noticed stinks. In my mind its like protesting a funneral, which has been happening lately when a fallen soldier is laid to rest.
I'm sorry to spill like this but I feel this way because my father is a retired marine and my husband has recently returned from Iraq. By with the grace of God they could be the ones fallen. I hate feeling this way and I'll get over it. But I just had to get it off my chest.
Thanks for letting me sound off.(I know I've used up my venting rqtions for a while.)

Good morning everyone. I don't like it either. Some people have no common decency in their heart or mind. Just remember even when it isn't memorial day, that when you see your service men and women, it helps them a little when you say thanks! Just thought I would tell you that I sat around smokers this weekend at one point and I didn't ask for one. As hard as it has been, I don't want to be a smoker again! Thank you all for that. Hugs AND kisses today!

Chippers, those people just have no concept of human decency.

People like that should be forced to go through etiquette classes, or forced to actually SPEAK with the people they are hurting through their actions.

    /great big hugs

Memorial day, Everybody keeps talking about this holiday. I guess it is an american holiday.

We have Remembrance Day here in Canada and it is always on November 11.

We also just recently have had a canadian soldier die in Afhgasthan, sorry if I did not spell it right. Turns out he is a native in the small town that we live in.

Close to home. It happens everyday, and we all need to respect their funerals.

It is very sad and disrespectful to protest on a day like Memerial day or Remembrance Day. We all need to be respectful no matter what we may think or believe.

I personally am against iraq war but that does not mean we disrespect anybodies deaths. The people who go and fight, or the innocents that were lost. We need to remember all sides and all people who are effected by this.

Memorial Day is about the same thing as Remembrance Day. We remember our ALL of our fallen heroes on Memorial Day, from all wars. I believe that the difference for Veteran's Day is that it was to remember the Armistice from WWI, but I'm not sure on that for sure, and don't have the time to look it up.

Anyway, Memorial Day is a bigger deal here in the states, only because we get the day off from work. For Veteran's Day, most of us just take a minute of silence (or at least I do). At 11:11 AM.
