    Laura,
Did hawee teach you that? Pray for me ladies and Joe. I'm taking the boys out for dinner tonight. Mr. chippers is away playing army for the weekend. He'll be back tomorrow.
Hope all are having a great spring day. I got to sleep in this morning which is rare in this house. I was up cleaning all night while the rotten monsters were asleep. Ewven asleep you can still hear the wheels turning. I talked with my father again. He'll be moving up here sooner than next summer. I think he's found a senior citizens development very close to home.
Have a nice day ladies and joe. Or goddesses and joe. If you don't hear from me tomorrow, I'm in a straight jacket somewhere.
    Love,
    Chippers

Well I survived dinner with the boys tonight. They were like gentlemen. Even when we went to the grocery store. Now walmart is another matter. I swear there has to be a walmart curse out there. It hits all kids when they walk through the door. My son said it's the falling prices. I have a different theory. Like if they behave like banzies then mom will get us whatever they want. The reality of leaving the cart right where is stands and walking out and heading home is a real eye opener.
No sooner did they get out of there were they gentlemen again. It's like doseless electro shock therapy.
I'm getting spring cleaning done as much as I can. We're planning to get our kitchen redone and the house painted. So I'm going through the house and if its broken or missing pieces it goes out. I do it covertly while the boys are in school. It saves on tears that way.
I do mr. chippers while he's at work. It saves me money on a divorce lawyers. That way if he is missing something, I can play as dumbfounded as he is. Hehe. Aren't I bad

Wittering is a form of intellectual humor. A wit is someone skilled in making witty remarks, typically spontaneously and in conversation.

That is a good definition. If anybody wants to correct me, please chime in. lol

That's what it says in the dictionary lol wittering is just a word for lots of talking.
  • May 6, 2007, 01:20 AM
    JoeCanada76
I thought that wittering is a long version of the word wit, which means witty which means humour which means. Okay I could go on but I think it might be too much wittering for everybody here.

Hello one and all. Joe no offense to your manliness, but from my experience, men and pregnancy go together like water and oil. But if you are pregnant Joe, I want dibbs on writing your story. I promise it'll make Lady chatterly's lover look like a kiddy book. Hehe. Embellishments and all.
As for wittering, we, being very intelligent people didn't look inside the box instead of out side it. Go figure.
Well I watched Pride and Prejudice twice last night and mamged to calm down. I let the boys out on early parole andlet them camp out in the living room and watch dvds last night.
Imagine my surprise when I woke up and found my gentlemen were back again.
Laura when I reread what I wrote about Mr. chippers, I busted out laughing too. The way I worded it "I do Mr. chippers" is priceless.
I so hate grocery shopping. When I remember I order on line through acme. The 10.00 delivery fee is worth it. I make that up by not impulse buying. Or spending an extra 30.00 if I take the kids with me. It makes life so much easier.
How is Hawee doing. How is Millie with her new friend. I think it's precious.
Hugs to everyone Joe, Syn, Laura, Heart and our other new goddesses.

    Chippers.

Hope everyone's Monday is starting OK and then it says just fine.

Wow you miss a lot when you leave town for the weekend... suddenly I learn that men CAN get pregnant, some women have the ability to "do" husbands when they are at work, and you can order groceries online... I feel like I was stuck in some kind of time warp... good Monday Morning all! (well I guess its afternoon for some of ya's overseas)

LOL!! OK... sorry... my hormones have me jumping pretty quick... I snapped at the cracker barrel lady yesterday when she wouldn't take my name quickly enough... but in my defense, she was yapping at another worker about hating her job and I had been standing there being ignored for 10 minutes... I do tend to be a bit of a troll... lol.

I went to see my parents this weekend, and their new house for the first time.

Mom and I went garage saling, and to a few antique stores. We had dinner with my dad's boss and his wife, and sat out on their porch with drinks, and then went out looking at the sights for a while yesterday before I had to drive back.

It was just a nice weekend with my parents.

    curlybenswife
    Have they settled in Synn??
  • May 7, 2007, 08:50 AM
    Synnen
Mostly. They have some boxes to unpack yet, and they're still filling rooms and putting up paintings and stuff like that. It's a nice house

My mom is pretty sad yet, though, about the whole moving thing. They sold the old house this weekend, so they were both happy and sad about that. Plus, mom misses the grandkids.

It's a nice town, though. I had to laugh when I found out my parents live on Main Street, in a town with one traffic light. Main Street, by the way, is paved with brick. It made me giggle.

I hate moving house this is the longest we have stayed in one place ever for 7 years I moved either once or twice a year till we moved here to the coast. I think I just moved way too much it gets very annoying.

Main street huh does mickey mouse live there too :D
  • May 7, 2007, 09:13 AM
    Synnen
Lol... The whole town reminds me of Mayberry.

This is the first time my parents have moved in like 28 years, so it was pretty tough.

I'm looking forward to buying a house, so that I can forget about moving for a while.

Good evening everyone. Alka, I feel the same way sometimes. If I blink I miss a chapter of my life. But once I'm in here with all my friends, I'm up to speed.
Don't be so hard on yourself about yelling at the yappy hostess. I'd have done it too and I have. Their complaints take out a little of your enjoyment when they do they. I had a hair dresser constantly complain about her job and her boss while she was cutting my hair. Ladies if your like me, getting my hair cut is very traumatic by itself. It ranks up there with a doctor doing surgery on me. So I changed hairdressers. No need to worry about hmo denying it.
Syn, I've been meaning to tell you that I have that same chair. I love it and actually fell asleep in it once. You look so nice sitting in it.
Laura, I hope your banker's holiday was nice for you and Millie and Hawee. Did Ben have to work or was he home as well
Mr. chippers works nights so having him home at night is a rarity. And nice to have a bed buddy other than the cats.(don't tell them I said that or they'll revolt)
Shelly, hope you had a nice weekend.
Joe, I've been meaning to tell you something. I like you. I like you very much. I like your strength and that you are a rare man who is secure and happy in your married life. You treat women with respect. And you respect yourself. There's not to many like you out there. I'm glad you're here with us and even more so to call you friend. Plus having a man around gives us the view from the other half. Thank you for being here. I'm sure we all think that too.
By the way, I'm not hitting on you, just being honest. Hehe
