    I have found that young and healthy individuals are likely to pass this test at 66 hours even after heavy drinking. However, due to the variability of EtG production from one individual to the next it can never be viewed as a certainty. 8 drinks puts you in the range of possible detection.

    Thank you DrBill! How much can drinking water and doing cardio exercise help? ETG is water soluble right? I assume this benefits more when BAC hits 0? I have been running, exercising, and drinking raspberry and lemon juices etc. Thanks!

    You answered your own question. EtG/EtS are both direct metabolites and production ceases at BAC=0. Water soluble and excreted in urine. Any liquid substance accelerates clearance.

    That has been established since before the test was introduced in US. Perhaps they figure that the high number of false positives counterbalance the anticipated false negatives.
