I am proud of you.

You are in a safe place, and you took the initiative, and have the maturity to know that you have to take care of yourself first.

It isn't a matter of not loving your parents, I'm sure you do. But, any of us, and most of us face some very difficult times in our lives, no matter what our ages, and somehow we all survive. The stronger you are, the better able you will be to not become overwhelmed and make instead, good choices for yourself.

It's wonderful to know that you have some peace in your life.

Dad has just been charged but waiting till tomorrow for court date he is staying in over night . Not looking good :(
