If you've been on suboxone, I'm assuming that was to wean you off a drug and you probably should not have been prescribed Lortab. I'm just suspecting that your tolerance to pain medication is pretty high.
If you're taking Suboxone, you're taking it for a reason. I have been on it for 6 months so I know. The reason I'm on it is because I'm recovering from hip surgery, and I'm an addict in recovery. I have another 12 months of intense pain, and I'm dealing with it by only taking 800 mg. Motrin. I've had back surgery too, so I know how that feels .
You can probably do without the Lortab if you try.
Does the doctor who prescribed the Lortab know that you're an addict? Probably not, huh?
I recommend NOT taking the Lortab, as it will start your addiction all over again. Or at least discuss the matter with your Suboxone clinic.
I wish you luck. You've gotten yourself off the Suboxone, why start the rollercoaster all over again?
