Itchy, irritated skin and a few small bumps entrance to vagina
I am hoping someone can help me. I am making a Dr. appointment tomorrow to get checked out, but was checking to see if anyone would know what this is? I have painful and itchy-feeling urination, but the rest of the time I just itch like crazy all over the genital area with two bumps on the entrance to the vagina. Is this a yeast infection or herpes? I have heard that herpes is very painful; I didn't know if it was itchy! Topical creams help for a little while, and then it starts up again. I thought I had a UTI (urinary tract infection) because of urination issue. And there was bacteria in my culture. But here I am, finished with the antibiotics and I am still itching! I have had yeast infections before, but the bumps threw me for a loop. Help!!

Sounds like herpes to me. Had an outbreak once. I got it not knowing it. He used to get coldsores quite often. He went down on me one night (with no signs of an outbreak) and **WALA** I got it, because the virus is in your blood. More than likely I had a cut of some sort down there and the virus got in! To reasure you, this was 3 years ago, have not had an outbreak since, and not on medication.

Oh my God yes! The itching was out of this world. I itched so much, my vaginal lips got so swollen I could not wear underwear. I had a few bumps. They look like little blisters.

Was there any discharge that went with it? Thanks for your help by the way!
