I had the iud(hormone type) in for a little over a year... My husband and I had sex the 5th, the 6th I had the IUD removed... The 8th I started my period... Is that a good thing? Could I be pregnant from having sex the day before? We are trying to get pregnant, I just want some advice... Thanks :)

Well hello there drama queen. I don't know if I have the answer, However I do have a very similar experience. I had the Mierna I.U.D removed on Feb 10 2010, had sex the same day and then had bleeding on the 12th which lasted for 5 days, Strange thing is I had just started my regular period on Feb 3 2010 till Feb 8th 2010 when me and my husband had decided to try for #3 That is why I had it removed on Feb 10 2010. I had no bleeding or spotting since the removel other than the period right after. Since I only had the I.U.D for a short time (Nov 18 2009) I really didn't think it would affect my body sooo much. Today is Mar 13 2010 and I am still waiting for my Mar period which was due two days ago. I did take a hpt like 5 times but they all say negative so I too am really confused. I hope this helps or at least makes you feel better.
