First of, you are the only one that can make yourself happy. Please don't say you hate everything about yourself. I guarantee there is one thing you like about yourself... whether it is a great smile, friendly personality, great hair, etc... You need to start loving yourself and who you are first and foremost.
As for losing weight the only healthy way is to eat right and exercise. You want to burn more calories then you are taking in... That does NOT mean starve yourself. Begin everyday with a good breakfast to get your metabolism going for the day. Also try to eat 4 to 5 meals a day... sounds like a lot but it will boost your metabolism. These meals shouldn't be a huge meal. Think about portions.
Start reading labels and keep the bad fat and sugar out of your diet. No fast food. Go to mypyramid.gov and get your personal food pyramid for what you should be eating. Good luck

There's no trick to losing weight; it's just a matter of burning off more calories than you take in. That usually means doing exercise and restricting your caloric intake.

Doing exercise was, to me, the easy part; it takes some time to get used to it at first but after a month or two you're faster and stronger than when you started. You may even start to enjoy it (I did, and still do).

The dieting's the hard part. It takes a special kind of willpower to keep yourself away from foods you know are bad for you. Try substituting foods. For instance, if you're drinking 3 cans of soda a day, try switching to diet or, better yet, water. Avoid too many sweets, too much fat; in fact, too much of anything is bad. Start cutting down on the amount of food you eat (of course, without starving yourself).

Do these things for a few months, without giving up or giving in, and you'll lose weight.

I'm no expert. When I went away back in November 06 I weigh 160lb. Upon the end of my trip I couldn't fit in any of my clothing (within a two week trip). I was shock at myself. I felt similar like you when I returned home from my vacation. I had to purchase new clothing and stopped doing certain things I enjoyed before. I was 210lbs in a matter of 2 weeks I gained almost 50lbs. (I must admit I had a wonderful trip)

But then I was desperate like you. I looked in the mirror and told myself take one day at a time. I pre ordered some nutritional shake called "Slim Script? What it does and you can check it out on the web as well it reduces your appetite and it boosted my energy too. It worked for me. I consulted my doctor first and he said it was fine.

I lost most of the weight now I am 175lbs and I feel it is going off. It's now June. I will not give up. I had no time in exercising so doing this worked for me. You must believe in yourself. The web site is SlimScript Soy Protein Shake | Whey Protein Powder Meal Replacement: A Heart-Healthy Low Glycemic Index Food. Wish you luck and don't beat yourself up. I am sure you are a beautiful person. If you set your mind to it you can make it.

OK, first of all you need to learn how to love yourself, chubby, skinny or bowlegged... I'm blowing this way out there but, see my point. Next is the 4 F diet, no fast, fatty, fried, or favorites, (like cakes, candy, cookies, chips) No white flour products, switch to whole grains like wheat pasta, rice, cereals, breads. Lots of lean meats like skinless chicken, turkey breast, fish and loin type meats, beans, legumes, lentils, fruit and veggies, and most importantly portion control, smaller portions, a serving of meat is 2-3 oz, nuts and seeds, 1/3 cup, a handful, great snacks, 1/4 c cooked dry beans, you should have 6 oz of grains,2.5 c of veggies, 1.5 c of fruits, 3 cups of daily (skim milk, low fat cheese, low fat yogurt), 3-4 servings of dairy increases fat breakdown in fat cells. Our plate should really be 1/2 fruit,1/4 whole grains, pasta, rice, cereals, bread and 1/4 protein. The best advice I can give anyone is to start learning to read nurtitional labels on the products you eat, one sering size, stick to it, Drinks lots of water instead of presweetened drinks. And work out aerobic, resistance training and some form of walking, jogging, biking or swimming, 4-5times a weeks, 30-60 minutes a session, This really will work, when your true to the hard work it takes. It's a life long change for best results!

So what I'm about to say is really not PC and is possibly offensive. Probably bordering on illegal. But here it is:

I'm 5'10", and I'd been fat all my life. In high school I was especially overweight, and after the second year of college I was at 300 lbs. That year, I'd met this girl online; we got along very well and chatted for hours every day, but after we met I never heard from her again.

So I got the message: I was fat and that was pissing me off. So I started jogging... at first I'd jog 2 minutes and then have to walk 4. Then I was jogging 5 minutes straight. Then 10, 20, 60, and finally about 90 minutes straight. The dieting kicked in, and so I went from 300 lbs. to 170 lbs. over three years.

Now, some of you say: be happy with yourself. Well, I knew I wasn't happy and I knew being fat was the cause. I had one royally hard time getting any attention from girls as a fatass, but now that I've lost the weight I get a lot of looks and stares from girls everywhere I go. In fact it was only then that I started dating. I am also a lot healthier now, I have more energy, I don't need nearly as much food to feel satiated, and I can play soccer--something I couldn't do before and had always wanted to.

So darniboy, if you know that being thin would make you happy, then go for it and don't give up until you're there. It's hard, hard work and you'll have to sacrifice a lot--and I don't just mean food, I mean you sacrifice time, energy, and possibly even social connections (it's hard to refuse going to McDonald's with your friends... some even take offense). But if that's what you really want, then do it. Start yesterday. Get it overwith so you can enjoy being thin as soon as possible.

EDIT: To elaborate on how friendships can be strained, you wouldn't believe how often I was told to just have the Big Mac and large fries at McDonald's and how mad they'd get when I refused. They'd feel guilty or upset that they were having all this greasy food and I'd be sitting there nibbling a salad with no dressing. Girls seemed especially sensitive to it: I'd eat less than my female friends and they'd complain it looks strange... which I'm sure it did. Can you imagine a big guy eating less than a thin, petite girl? But it paid off: I run faster, I look great in tight shirts, and--my crowning achievement--I've had my grabbed. Like, more than once. Most of the time by girls.

Does green tea ACTUALLY take toxins out?
And what will cutting out dairy products do?
