This is a million dollar question, I have been trying to figure that out myself. HELP! Obviously, you call click on DO NOT DISTURB, and then you have blocked everyone. Does anyone have the answer for us?

    MagicBeans® at MagicJackBans.com

That website looks like it was set up by a 12 year old trying to plant some spyware on your computer. NO WAY!

For those users that LIKE MagicJack (count me as a satisfied one year user), I just purchased and downloaded ($12.95) a great utility called MagicBeans (MagicJackBeans.com) that enhances the functionality of the frankly, limited, MagicJack service.

I now have call blocking and have increased my number of rings from the standard 4 to 6 (can go up to infinity – but OMG, how annoying). You can set it to Do Not Disturb and can forward your calls in 3 variables: All; Busy or No Answer.

One really great feature is it will allow you to hard or soft START or REBOOT. Some of the problems that the MJ can encounter are resolved by unplugging and replugging in the unit. This is important for those of us concerned with eventual problems of USB dongle / port failures due to overuse.

There are also some other nifty features that make the MJ pop-up transparent, and it can even block the little advertisements window (woot!).

BTW, since installing I ran a full virus scan and looked at my processes and detect NO virus threats or spyware.

So far, I am LOVING it and highly recommend it to anyone that is comfortable with a bit of computer maintenance!!

You should try the downloadable Magicfeatures software plugin at http://www.pcphonesoft.com .

The Magicfeatures plugin adds over 20 features to your magicJack including selective call rejection, priority calls only, anonymous call block and do not disturb.

A newer version of MagicBeans is available at www.magicjacksoftware.com. It's clean and the site is much more professional.

Will MagicBeans or pcphonesoft also work with new MJpus if it is plugged in to the router?

The best way to get rid of an unwanted caller who harassed and never stops calling like.. (that girl or boy you should ve never slept with in the first place, collection agencies).. is like this it never fails... you need to grow balls for about 15 seconds and say this

... "hey...F---K OFF...stop calling me i dont like you...if you persist in harrassing me i will file a harrassment complaint with the police department..CAPICHE..if you call here again..just wait for the squad car in front of your house...it should be arriving in about 15 min....enjoy your incarceration...maybe you being in a cell will make you realise not to call here again"...

I guarantee this approach will be successsfull.

Thank you for the great advice on MagicBeans. I've not had problems with MJ and have used him for a year, also. I have; however, had extreme difficulty with McAfee, where that anti-virus program hails from India and charges over $300 to fix a problem with your system, especially if you fail to continue service. McAfee denies it, but when I told them that I got another anti-virus program, my new program found over 300 viruses, to include trojans and worms that tried to infiltrate my system. The odd thing is that the new program was free and it works great. I purchased the Avast anti-virus program, recently, and could not tell the difference between the free version and the purchased one. I'm sure there are differences, but the Avast program is so good that I have not had system failure or crashes since I downloaded it.
