Is there a manual for a 4" craftsman tablesaw model # 572-2474 out there?
I have acquired a 4" craftsman table saw model # 572-2474 and it is in excellent shape with all accessories but a manual and I am in need of the belt. I want to use it for small craft projects. I have ran this information through Google many times and many ways and can't find anything about it. Can you help?

I don't have a manual, but here are some options:

    • Enter "572-2474" at Sear Parts for available parts (belt isn't).
    • Search the publications at Old Wood-working Machines for catalogs or manuals from similar saw models. Can also post a request for manual there.
    • I doubt the belt is a special. Take a pulley to any place selling belts and they should be able to fix you up. It's probably an A/4L cross section.
    • Another option is to use generic link belt for your pulley size. They are a bit more expensive but since I started using these on my tools, I'd never go back to regular belts.

Update: Ok, I was wrong - belt is a special... It appears the saw is the same as a Dremel 580. Belt is available on Ebay. One forum post I saw mentioned original belt tended to slip off. Toothed belts and pulleys are also available at most industrial suppliers like Grainger or WMBerg.
