    Briggs and Stratton Gas Leak
I have a pressure washer that has a Briggs and Stratton engine that is leaking gas. I filled the gas tank out and found out that gas is leaking out through the air filter. I looked at the gas hose going from the tank to the carb. And it looked good. I took the air filter off and saw that gas was going into the air filter compartment. Is this something that I could fix (not experienced) or should I take to someone who knows what they are doing. I would like to try.
    Thanks!

You could put on an inline fuel shut off valve. Sounds like your needle valve and float is staying down and flooding the carb, then running out the air filter housing. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR OIL LEVEL. It too is probably over filled now and contains a mixture of oil and GAS.
