How underage is she? I believe she will still have custody of the child when it is born.

You need to let your chain of command know you are expecting a child, so that when it is born you can get her child support set up (The Army will help you with this).

I have not heard of grandparents getting custody just because the birth parent is not of age... but I don't know for sure... Sorry.

I agree with s2tp, You need to let your chain of command know your expecting. If you truly want to be part of the baby's life then you need to show that is what you would like to do. You could still get some sort of custody, even if it is not full time.

The others have given you some very good advice so you need to follow it, One ask if you really want to be a part of this baby's life, you have no choice there, if you are the father you are responsible for the child's care until it becomes 18 years old. So you had better plan your future with that in mind.

So I'm pretty sure that you being an adult and you're girlfriend being a minor you could go to jail for just having sex with the girl, depending on where you live. You might want to check that out before you go around saying that you got a minor pregnant.
