Karian, you are BOTH minors right now. Til he is 18. But that does not mean that at 18 he OUR only 13 years old. Have you thought this through completely dear? Not just wheather HE will have consequenses, but what about yours? Emotionally, physically, morally, spiritually? Please think this through, completely. What makes you think that if you start having sex now, that when he is 18 and can arrested for having sex with a minor that you can just STOP all of a sudden, supposing your still together. Think this through you are too young to be having sex. That is a big step at any age let alone at 13.

In most places in the world YES it is illegal. What can happen to him? He can go to prison, be labeled a sex offender for the rest of his life. You on the other hand can get pregnant, have a baby and raise a child while it's father is serving time in prison.

Oh, BTW, what do your parents think about him? Wouldn't it be wisest for you to ask your parents what his punishments would be if he were to have sex with you?

A lot depends on what state you live in, for example, in FL it is ILLEAGAL for minors to have sex no matter the age, even if it is consensual. But, being a minor doesn't necessarily bar you from being able to give consent to sex in all cases, because it is possible to be a minor, but be old enough to consent to sexual relations. For example, in Texas, you are a minor if you are under age eighteen and have not had your disabilities removed by court action, getting married or joining the armed forces. TEX. PROB CODE SEC. 601 (16). But, for purposes of giving consent to have sexual relations, the age is seventeen. TEX. PENAL CODE SEC. 21.11. (a).



So, it may be legal for anyone to have sex with a minor, if the minor has obtained the statutory age to give consent to have sexual relations.



Keeping that in mind, in Texas it may be legal for a child who is least fourteen years old to have sex with someone under seventeen, if no force was used. TEX. PENAL CODE SEC 22.11(b).



So bottom line: In some states, minors can legally have sex with other minors. But, each state has its own laws on the subject and it would be best to check with the laws of whatever state you are concerned with rather than relying on a general answer, since state laws do vary considerably.

I'm not sure but speaking from experience you'll regret it. Yet, also speaking from experience, nothing anyone with any experience says will change your mind...

Sorry to see you are getting some poor advice, Yes it is illegal, and yes he can be charged with rape and sent away to jail and/or prison. He could become a registered sex offender for the rest of his life making it not possible to have most good jobs.

For you, it can mean having a baby at 14 and making you life a lot harder than it needs to be.

Well at age thirteen you really need to take a few days if not weeks to think this through. The consequences from something like that after this guy turns 18 could turn out terrible like other posters have stated.

But in this matter try to emulate what your mother would say to you in your mind since you probably won't bring this up with her.

So I guess ill get it started for you I am not telling you not to do it but I am saying you have a 70%^ chance to really regret it. I am not trying to be a downer for you but young relationships seldom work out well. You could get pregnant and he could leave you if he does not get prosecuted for it. Also you might look back on the occasion and have painful regrets that you did not save it for some one who you really care about and love.

My final point is your body really is not ready for something like this, your 13 years old you have just barely gone into puberty and your body is most likely far from fully developed. In the end this is your choice and when your at a young age I know how some things can go right in one ear and out the other so think it over and also see what your Bf thinks and if you really can't decide on your own maybe talk to a parent that you can trust.

Think long and hard. Men come and go. And well to be honest After you have done what they want they leave. Don't take chances unless you are willing to deal with the things that can become of it...

If you live in the US- many states have an age of consent.
But I'm pretty sure none of them are 13.

So he is in 11th grade and your in 7th grade? I think there would be a problem there and also what state you are in would matter
