    Ceiling Fan Ground wires?
So I took my Aloha breeze ceiling fan apart again. Now I connected all the wires like the instructions say. I connected the black ceiling to the red remote, white ceiling to the white remote, the blue remote to the blue fan, black remote to black fan, white remote to white fan, and both green wires to the ground wire. BUT NOTHING HAPPENES. I'm going to reconect the green wires like I had it last night. If anyone nows how to wire the ceiling fan, let me know if I am doing it right. Last night the fan stopped working.

    Thanks

    Gary

Could you tell us if you chnaged any of the wires once you noticed the fan had stopped working. Most likely the wires were fine before so it is possible you are getting RF interrence or have a bad receiver. Can you test the feed lines at the ceiling to confirm 120 vac? Does your fan have pull chains and have you tried them too? Get back to us please.

First of all, I would try exchanging your Aloha Breeze fan, they are a horrible brand you you may have a defective model.

The power way to wire it:

The receiver has two sides, the fan side (which has 3 wires) and the power side (which has two). The fan side matches up to the fan wires-- black, blue, and white. The power side connects white to white and hot (red or black) to hot (red or black) from the ceiling. All the ground wires connect together.
