Is there a grace period after signing a lease?
Is there a grace period after signing a lease where it can be voided with no penalties? I'm not sure there is such a thing but someone mentioned that to a friend of mine who just a couple of days ago signed a 1 year lease and wants out. We live in Seattle, WA.

I know of no state that requires a rescission period on rental leases, so unless there is some sort of "back out" clause within the lease itself, I afraid the lease is binding and enforcable.

A lease once signed by both parties, is valid and the terms of the lease can be inforced.
