    Landlord/Tenant
    Landlord is suing me in small claims court, for not providing a written notice, damage to Unit, Garbage disposal and for unpaid rent, I did give two months verbal notice, did not damage unit, have all copies of cheques paid and a letter from One of the partner stating I have paid my rent on time What do I do Can I counter sue? Help

    I think "counter sueing" is not needed. Just show up to court with your documentation - and I'd think the judge or magistrate will throw it out.

    Have you called the guy to tell him you have documentation that his claim is in error?

    I definitely suggest giving him a call. And if he's uncooperative, call the partner that gave you the letter.

    Why should I call him he is the one sueing me for $6000,00 and I have evidence to show I honour the contract.

    Make sure you file with the court you intend to defend, otherwise tey will get a judgment against you.

    You should have provided a WRITTEN notice.
