    Heat pump question
I am a new homeowner and we have a lennox heat pump unit. It has been very hot here recently averaging about 90+ and I have noticed that during the day my heat pump seems to run almost continuously with the tstat set at 74. It will cut off once and a while but its usually only for about 5-10 minutes before it comes back on. After about 8pm or so it rarely comes on. Is this normal for it to run this much during a hot day? Also, I have noticed on the side of our house that is farthest from the blower that the air does not come out of the ducts as hard as the ducts closer to the blower. Is this something you think than can fixed?

74 is pretty cold. Your insulation in your house (or lack of it) has a lot to do with how hard your AC will work in hot temps.
Duct or register balancing may help in getting more air to the farthest room.
