ApoorvGoel, I'm having trouble understanding your limits of integration. Is the 1/0 a typo or is it some notation I'm not familiar with?

At any rate, the line integral of a static electric field will be equal to the potential difference from the beginning of the line to the end. Thus if you start and end at the same point, the answer will always be zero. If you start and end at different points, you can either compute the line integral directly or do like I said and find the difference in potential.

So you just need to do as I said and compute the difference in potential from start (l=0) to finish (l=). The easy part is at infinity; the potential is always zero at infinity.

As for the potential at the center of the ring, I'll leave that up to you. We're here to HELP you with your homework, not do it for you. A simple Google search will reveal the formula, but it's not very hard to figure it out yourself. Just integrate kQ/r over the entire ring.
