    Help with financial question
    I am on disability for fibromylgia have been for 10 years.my husband and i are divorcing i can't work he has a good jub and an annuity from his mothers death which i took care of.is half of that money mine and will he have to pay me for the rest of my life since i can't even get out of bed somedays?i know we split the little bit of svings but that won't take care of me and what about insurance?i don't have any i am under his insurance.help me i am devastated!!

    You may have claim to propety and money depending on your location. He may have to pay alimony for a year or two, ( based on many factors)

    You need to look into welfare and public assistance, since no he will not be providing for you for the rest of your life.
    How you are going to pay for rent and other bills, who was going to pay for your health insurance needed to be looked into before the split and needs to be discussed with your attorney

    An Attorney is the person familiar with your State Laws who can help you.

    Many factors are involved - property, other assets, the length of the marriage, in some instances the reason for the divorce.

    You need a GOOD matrimonial Attorney to resolve all of the issues, the least one of which is NOT health insurance.
