    Summer1
Trying for a baby after a miscarriage
I had a miscarriage in December at 9 and a half weeks, I had to going into the hospital. Since the miscarriage, my periods have been all over the place. Before the miscarriage, I was as regular as clock work, with very light periods. Now I can go anything between 14 and 28 days between periods and are lot heavy than before.

I have been to the Doctors who have told me that it just takes time. Im 34 years of age and feel that time is not on my side. He has also said that it might be because I'm not ovulation again this might take time. I tried an ovulation kit and this showed that I am not ovulating. I don't understand why I would not be ovulating. Also how long it will take for my body to get back to normal.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

    Thank You

I can understand your worries and concerns.
    I had a miscarriage at 19 weeks.
It took my body 7 months to be regular again.
During the 7 months, I thought I was broken for good...
After that 7 months of worry, I started ovulating again and my period returned to normal.
2 months later I conceived, had a healthy pregnancy, and a beautiful, healthy baby.

I hope this helps to ease your worries...
Everyone's body is different, yours may
Just need extra time to heal as mine did.

    Good luck to you.

Hey Summer1, don't get discouraged. I have four children, before every one of them, I miscarried. Odd isn't it? It all works in mysterious ways. Don't worry, they happen more than people know. On your body getting back to normal, I think it matters on the person and the different stage you might have been in. It took a while for me to get back to normal with my last, besides the stretch marks everything was great after about a year. With my first I bounced right back about 6 months later. Give yourself some time, if you are stressed it might prolong the whole thing. Good luck!
